it isI just don't see them going with Sean Umar unless Yan Merab 3 is up next
At the white house?
Who wins?!
It blows my mind people think Sean does not inflict crazy damage because he has pink hair. Yan took a knee from Sean in the 3rd that might of ended the fight by the doc if it was a 5 rounder. That being said, Umar vs SEan is a good fight and both will need to dig deep.
Yan is getting back surgery, that's huge? That changes the whole division if true.I didn't hear Yan was injured. Back surgery sounds pretty serious. If recovery goes long, Merab could fight again, but what's the point of him beating Sean or Umar again?
Given that Yan vs Merab 3 sounds next, Sean should be told to either fight Umar or get skipped, but of course the UFC won't force that on their precious baby boy. Not even for a guy named Nurmagomedov.
Ideally, we get Sean vs Umar, and then when Sean loses, he can finally move down enough for Cory to finish him. (I think Cory vs Zahabi sounds good and makes sense now, so I guess whoever wins can fight Sean)
Yan vs O'Malley rematch needs to happen. First fight was great and it's important for Petr's legacy to get a decisive victory this time. With Yan/Merab 3 not likely until July or maybe June given Yan's injury, this fight makes sense on the same timeline.
I think if Yan/Merab was ready for April then the UFC probably would've held off in Hopes of Yan/O'Malley 2 for Abu-Dhabi/MSG.
Yan vs O'Malley was a great fight though.Highly doubt it.
Sean is waiting for Petr Yan. And if it's Merab trilogy for Yan next, then Sean is just going to sit out and see if Yan wins it.
We were only some GnP strikes from Song in round 1 away from avoiding all this nonsense.
