Voice of an Angel

Would definitely make sweet love to.

Emmy Rosum needs some work though.

Watched Season 2 of Fargo directly after watching True Detective Season 1.

Having watched them both back to back, I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed both. I think True Detective was done better, and it actually brought me around to thinking McConaughey isn't "so bad" seeing that I only ever liked him in Lincoln Lawyer.

About Fargo S2 though, I really liked the cast. The first episode, I was like "I like this Rye Gaerhart fella. I like how fidgity he is, and I think the guy is doing a great job as far as acting goes. He will be my new favorite on this show, I just know it." yeah... That didn't happen.

There were a few WTF moments, but they mostly had to do with the UFO BS and the fact that the sightings happened "during that time period". Not a good enough reasons to have UFO's fuck your show up IMO...

I liked it. Solid season, likeable cast which had me rooting for all sides at some point, and a solid end to the season.

True Detective has been my favorite season of any show in recent memory though, and maybe I though less of Fargo after seeing that, I am not sure.

You should have watched Fargo season 2 AFTER True Detective season 2. :D

My friend told me about this show so I finally watched it on HULU.. Got hooked watched the whole first season in 3 days. On episode 5 of season 2 now.. So far I think I liked the first season better, but it is pretty cool that some of the peoples younger selfs are in season 2. Just sucks they say season 3 wont be out until 2017

I liked it. One of my favorite scenes was Dunst hallucinating in the basement after killing those guys. "Think or be, you can't do both." You are not your thoughts. Thinking is not being. Stop thinking about being that person and simply BE that person.

I started watching a few weeks ago and finished season 2 today. I can't believe how great this show is. Wish I had caught on to it sooner. I definitely prefer season 1 though, It has more of a creepy and sinister vibe to it which is more my thing. Freeman, Tolman and Thornton absolutely killed their parts. Great performances all around. Both seasons are just a crazy roller coaster ride, No show has made me go through those hoops of anticipation since Breaking Bad.

I know it's still a while away, but bring season 3 the fuck on.

I loved this show but man did the alien spaceship scenes put a huge damper on the series as a whole for me. There was absolutely no reason to add it in.

Ewan McGregor to Lead FARGO Season 3 in Dual Roles

Fargo season three has found its leading man. Ewan McGregor has been cast in the starring role of FX’s Emmy-winning anthology drama – two starring roles, in fact.

Because the Star Wars and Trainspotting star isn’t just playing one part in the series. He’s been cast as two brothers, Emmit and Ray Stussy, who are at the center of the story (and no, they’re not twins).

Here’s the official description of his characters, which marks the first details of any kind about the show’s mysterious third edition:

“Emmit Stussy is the Parking Lot King of Minnesota. A handsome, self-made, real estate mogul and family man, Emmit sees himself as an American success story. His slightly younger brother, Ray Stussy, on the other hand is more of a cautionary tale. Balding, pot-bellied, Ray is the kind of guy who peaked in high school. Now a parole officer, Ray has a huge chip on his shoulder about the hand he’s been dealt, and he blames his brother, Emmit, for his misfortunes.”

Previously, Fargo showrunner Noah Hawley said the new season would be set in 2010, a few years after the events in season 1. The writer-producer also hinted that one other character from a previous season might return, though nobody else has yet been cast. Fargo season 3 will begin production later this year and will air sometime in 2017.

For McGregor, this will mark his first TV series regular role. He’s also is starring in and making his directorial debut in the upcoming film American Pastoral and is currently in production on T2: Trainspotting 2.

Fargo: Ewan McGregor Cast in Starring Role in Season 3 Playing Two Brothers

Fargo season one was amazing. Season two was one of the best television series in 2015. Can't wait for season 3.

Let's hope there are no UFOs in this one.

If you haven't seen the first two seasons yet, I highly recommend you go check it out.

Update: July 11, 2016

Carrie Coon Cast as the Female Lead in FARGO Season 3

Fargo has found its next leading lady. The Leftovers' Carrie Coon is set to star in season three of the FX anthology opposite Ewan McGregor, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Coon will portray Gloria Burgle, a practical woman who grabs the fire extinguisher when the bacon catches fire and everyone else panics. The chief of police in Edna Valley and a newly divorced mother, she struggles to understand this new world around her where people connect more intimately with their phones than the people directly in front of them.

As previously announced, McGregor will take on the dual roles of brothers Emmit and Ray Stussy in what will be his first TV series regular role.

Production on the third installment of Fargo is set to begin later this year for a 2017 debut on FX.

Season three of Fargo has been rumored to take place in 2010, following the events of the breakout drama's freshman season. It's unclear how or if it will tie into the events from the first run.

"None of the main characters from our first year will be back for our third year," Hawley told THR in December.

For Coon, the role comes after her breakout turn on The Leftovers, which earned her a Critics Choice award for best actress in a drama series in 2015, and a nomination for the same award the year prior. Her other credits include Gone Girl and the forthcoming thriller The Keeping Hours.

Calling all my fellow Fargo fans. Just updating you on season 3.

I hope S3 is as good as S2. I think the show has been solid overall but S1 had moments where it dragged. S2 was much closer to perfection.

McGregor is going to knock this thing out of the park. Coon is okay. She'll be suitable.

I can't wait. The first two seasons were both really well done. One of my all time favorite shows.

I loved season 1 to death, & I absolutely fuckin' hated season 2.

Hopes are not high for this, but I'll give it a chance.
