FX's FARGO Discussion Thread

Weak finale but I guess it's because there was so much action in the previous episodes.

Almost all of the storylines came to a close as we expected (poor Mike) and I absolutely loved Betsy's dream sequence.

As for Hanzee...
he becomes this guy (Fargo mob boss from S1) so that must have been Mr. Numbers and Mr. French.

I really liked Mike's ending and it'll be interesting to see which characters they tie into season 3.

The finale was a good wrap. Not every finale has to be crazy. We got that last week.

Great season. 9/10

Underwhelming finale and some of the resolutions were unsatisfactory. If this was the direction they were going to end the season, they should have held off the motel massacre and shown it at the beginning of the finale episode.

Regardless, season 2 is still one of the best television seasons ever.

The opening sequence with War Pigs was brilliant. Overall the finale left me cold. But I'm looking forward to a 3rd season.

And if anyone was wondering, Lou's story about the Chinook helicopter during the evacuation of Saigon- that really happened. The pilot's name was Nguyen Ba Van.

That's how I imagined 2nd season of True Detective. Same tight atmosphere, but the whole thing improved in every single way. Alas we got what we got. Good for Fargo's folks though, I didn't like first season, but this one was TITS.

Corporate scene was brutal, funniest shit i'v seen in a while. The King has claimed his throne.

I thought he final episode was a bit underwhelming, but I still liked it a lot. Honestly got a little choked up when Betsy had the dream about the future and saw her dad and her daughter from season 1. Small detail, but Lou was walking with a limp at Mollys graduation, and Betsy wasnt there, so I guess she really does die from cancer. Made me sad, I really like Betsy.

LOL at Mike Milligan ending up in a cramped office, pushing papers after all that shit. At least he got an electronic typrewriter though, those things are like spaceships.

The finale is the worst episode of the season. I just got done with the last episode of Jessica Jones and I felt it was also the worst of that season.

Just couldn't stick the landing.

Mike Milligan could be completely edited out of the season and nothing would change.

Disappointing. Good season of tv tho!

What? No. With no war between KC and the family, the events in the show would be drastically different.

It would've, but they presented mike Milligan like he was going to have some kind of major pay off. I feel he didn't.

I have to remember that the Cown's don't do pay offs. :(

He won. What kind of pay off were you looking for?

No, those are the two enforcers from season one. The deaf kid and his buddy. At least that's what I thought.

Remember that the deaf kids and his buddy were playing when two bullies started beating them up. Hanzee took out his knife and moved to intervene, but we never get to see what he does.

He won cause everyone forfeit. Ssying he won is like saying Daniel Cormier beat Job Jones since jones is no longer champ.

I felt that Milligan was filmed in a way to work towards a showdown and that showdown never came. Feel like it was a waste of a character I personally enjoyed. I mean....I get the irony of working hard to become king just to become a corporate slave, but there was no reason his ending couldn't be more entertaining.

Wow, I didnt even make the connection that it would be the enforcers from season one.

Hemmmmmo meant the other two kids though, the ones that started beating up the deaf kid and his friend. Hanzee pulls his knife and intervenes, which starts a lifelong, beautiful friendship and the start of Hanzees empire.
