That line stuck in my head for a couple days. Great season so far. I still like season 1 more than most people though. I like this season better when it's less focused on the mob elements, which I don't care about that much, even though Milligan is a good character.
Agree. Fargo is at its best when it documents the every day, innocuous small town Midwesterners forced into circumstances alien to their understanding of life. Hence Ed had to transform from the dopey butcher dreaming about owning a small shop into a calculated player of the game(called it!). He and Peggy will become the decisive factor in the Kansas-Fargo war. Ed will not make it to the end of the last episode though.
In comparison Fargo S1 started off stronger and is still the best overall but S2 is closing the distance. Both are excellent and like S1 this is one of the few series I know I will watch more than once.
