Are you guys referencing the episode where Billy talks over Peter and the Wolf? I'm loving season 5, and there is a bit of original music in there I think that sounds like asking AI to compose like Prokofiev.

I heard it only on sherdog tbh. It’s not a thing outside the US.

Edit: I googled it. It’s a thing from the 30s but got only public exposure really since 2014.

The movie is from 1995 iirc…

We don't have that term and stigma. Woke is a US thing based on their history, we have our own. Leftists are crazy here aswell but a different bread. So no, we don't have "woke" here, we have people crying racist or sexist but we don't have a big part of our population being african-americans and their experience which is quite different to 2nd generation afghans as example. We have russians, kurds, turks, syrian people and all the others and face completely different problems.

Our leftside is torn between pro-israel and pro-palestine, even pro-russia and pro-ukraine, we have oldschool communists, anarchos, anti-germans following frankfrut school, left hegelians etc.

The US is way more media orientated, sensational and either / or.

germany has been importing woke narratives en masse.
The whole Alphabet shit is very strong, as is White Guild, as is the Gender shit, open borders, etc.

Germany is carrying it's own guild since 45. I don't agree with the insane interpretations that are published here from US media mostly but they are also out of context and with a pretty blunt agenda.

Times are changing, I take "woke" imports on social matters an reasonable free personal expressions compared to to 50s, 60s or even 2000s any day.

And if I see some kid crying about something that I don't agree with I simply take it for what it is, a kid crying about something. We all did that and some, like you right, still do.

I'm way more concerned bout international politics, china, russia, india, right wing and authoritarian insanity, stoning gay people, bullying scrawny kids into suicide and so on.

But you do you and eat those big words as if they would mean anything on the long run.

Most of this is off topic, you are turning this into a left vs right debate, which BTW is also a murrkan import.

BUt we seem to agree on the original question, which is that the woke agenda has been imported in Germany. I think it's very obvious. Nobody was whining about mean weisse Männer 10 years ago, nor about owing non white people anything, nor about the whole Gender nonsense. I have been living in Germany for more than 15 years I am have witnessed the megamorphosis.

But Germany is not alone. France has been contaminated big time as well and the UK is long gone.
 
I love how every season has a similar cast of characters - the sharp police officer, the dumb FBI agents, the boss with unlimited funds, the hitman, the inept supervisor cop, etc lol
