We all have our heroes, our giants. There might be a swath of great boxers and boxing, but ...and there may be more than one, but who is your guy, nutshell. C'mon.

Fuck it im gonna have to go with Mike. The HW division was in such a sad state before he came along.

Calzaghe, it's tricky because I've heard of multiple times when he was an absolute bastard out of the ring, but in it he was a master, and if you were overlooking him or getting all the hype he just dragged you through the full 12 battering you completely.
Also later in his career proved be could get up and come back harder after getting floored.
Excellent fighter, strategist and consummate professional. Just a bit of a twat allegedly.

Edit. Or Nigel Benn, because he was no nonsense and ridiculously entertaining. Zero fear of anyone.

Kim Duk gu

For being a man of his word. He said he was going to come home a champion or not come home at all.

So tough this one, from a historical perspective Jock McAvoy, but in modern times Nigel Benn. Honourable shout outs to Carl Thompson, Michael Gomez (mad as a box of frogs in and out of the ring) and Katsidis.

Tyson, Jones and Dave Hilton were my two boxing idols growing up. Soured a lot on the last two for vastly different reasons.....
