I've only been to Croatia only like 2 times. I was born in March of 92 ini Yugoslavia shortly after the socialist republic split so it was just Serbia and Montenegro after that. My family lived in Croatia, so they thought it was safe to go back for whatever reason, obviously wasn't the case as our home was destroyed by the Croats and we were part of the 92 Serb exodus from Croatia, my dad was fighting in the war. I didn't go back until 97 or 98 when my mum and I went to Vukovar to see my uncle, I remember some guys with guns who started shooted and we had to run. That was the last time I was in Croatia so I don't have any real experience there. Not really any good memories lol.

I apsolutely didn't see any war, so I'm not bothered. I know my cousin died in it and my other cousins wife. And my friends mom. My best friend is from Kosovo, if he was older he would be dead. He was young enough to not get executed. When they gathered them. I mean we all talk Albanians, Serbians, Bosnians, Croatians. We're all optionaly friends. He works with a Serbian guy it's super common. The city is full of all us balkanites. Next to each other. All the time.

Ah you mean, paying for software ? Dude, I didn't even pay for my videogames. 5$ bootlegged everything. Albums, games. My PS 2 had a chip in it so I can play all games bootleged for cheap. Noone used originals in my time. I always had microsoft for free. Pay them 170$ to use my computer for writing, no thank you.

Not really, I mean I'm a Serbian from Serbia, my dad is a Serbian from Croatia and my mum is Croatian. He was a reservist with the JNA so was called into service when the war started. We also lived through the NATO bombing which sucked and we came to Australia a year later.

Yeah, I forget some words sometimes. Only speak Serbian with family, parents, aunts and uncles but with my brothers and cousins we just speak English with each other. My Cyrillic is rusty though.

Actually you got the exact combination as Mirko. Dad Serbian from Croatia, mom Croatian. I mean you're Serbian also. Simple concept of 2 ethnicities. One of my cousins is like that too.
 
You really do speak Srpsko Hrvatski. I know super lame joke. Language of Jugoslavia was officially called Serbian Croatian. I think scientifically it could be South Slavic. I mean everyone gona call it by their country. Montenegro started calling it crnogorski too.

I can't cyrilic my mom can. We don't teach it anymore. I'm not a Russian. What passports do you hold ?
 
I'm from the Croatian border in the +90% Croatian area of Bih (Bosna i Hercegovina). So I didn't have problems. I mean we did flee war, mom brother me, for 7 years. That's why I speak so good 🇩🇪 today. But that was seamless, cause my mom already been to Germany for like close to 15 years by that point, over 10, and we have some family there. My dads half brothers childreen, so my 4 cousins. And they got kids too. I had no pain from war. At all actually. So I didn't grow up nationalistic. And my parents didn't say bad things. We also had no war in town. We kinda sent our muslims away. Noone got killed. They all came back. One happy family. Just to prevent rioting or some shit. There is no tension at all or was. Sure as teens maybe someone did say something wrong but that happens regardless of nationality. But nah no problems. I wouldn't even call anyone a minority. We're 1 city.
 
Only victim card I can brag about one day we went camping / fishing on the east side and some Serbian Men asked us where we are from and told us to go away. Lol. Not much of a story. I actually wanted to go to Beograd. And Prishtina. My best friend in Germany is from a vilage near there, gotta make it happen eventually. My cousin is also diplomat there so my mom feels safe now about it, as it's close to the border of Serbia. Cause of your conflict not ours. And everybody gotta visit Beograd, I heard it's good. Why not. Mom also got a tourism degree from the University there.

After telling you all these nice things don't forget you can not trust me Slobodan. I am mean. A mean troll. Next I hack into your Australian bank account and take 3.5$ three fiddy.

I mean I already got Serbian friends. Always had a funny idea to not tell them and invite my albanian Kosov friend to the coffe bar and be there with my serbian friend. My serbian friend is an asshole I should beat him he still owes me money. Basically get them there by suprise and enjoy them potentially feeling uncomfortable. Good idea I should do that next weekend. They are both chill still funny to me. Tease them.
 
So Google docs and open office or libre office are decent alternatives to word, not unfortunately nobody has a decent alternative for Excel.

Anyone pirate Excel?
