Free fight. Tony ferguson vs RDA

Great fight. Tony has defeated the murderers row of the LW division (minus Khabib and Conor).

Was a close fight regardless....both might cut a lot of weight but people respond to the similar cuts in different ways sometimes.
And the eyepoke....i can't say how much that may have affected it.

Tony has a fucking Chin, saw it this morning, he was getting hit with some clean shots in the early rounds and getting countered hard for his leg kicks. He found his footing after round one but his Chin definitely played a factor, close fight. It'll be interesting to see how long his chin will hold up against more proficient and powerful strikers, Khabib' doesn't particularly pose that threat to Tony, but he can still take him to the ground and maul him. April 7th can't come soon enough.

Never faced prime pettis, benderson, cerrone, diaz, or alvarez.

The lw division actually seems to be in a slight lull right now. After the fight between the eagle and fergus, there aren't a lot of fresh match-ups next.

Fergy would beat most of them: not gonna be a hugger and say all, but theres not one guy there that Tony cant beat.

Fact is, he has the best streak in the division: hence he got a belt for it and is the man to beat, besides McDucker

The more I watch Tony fight, the more confused I get that he keeps winning. And the more convinced I get that Conor would sleep him.

All we can do is speculate, at this point.
Having said that, the guy who was getting rocked and doing the stanky leg vs a short notice lando, and was thoroughly outclassed by the menace and outgrappled by castillo could easily lose to any of the guys I mentioned.

Yeah. Great fight. Eyepoke did not change anything. RDA won round 1 & 3. The rest was all ferguson.

Tony ferguson won by keeping a higher pace, more creative range of strikes, and better footwork.

Excelent cardio by both fighters

Ferguson is a horrible match up for Pettis and Cerrone. Prime Cerrone had even worse striking than he had now. I really want to see Ferguson vs Diaz, though.

This fight was really fun, I enjoyed it a lot. But damn, Tony's defense... his head was mostly always there for RDA to hit, lol. I arguably had 3-2 rounds for RDA. But was one of the best fights of 2016 regardless.

You said it bro, stick to the facts: Fergy has the best streak and is the defending champ.

Maybe McDuck will pluck up the courage to fight the winner of the upcoming fight.

So those jabronis you listed earlier are irrelevant

Was the biggest fight of his career... Showed how much he has improved. The guy is legit and Khabib has a fight on his hands.

Fair enough, but that was also before his prime, too. At that time, he was fighting the likes of Mike Rio and Danny Castillo.

His recent run through Thomson, Barboza, Vannata, Dos Anjos and Lee is phenomenal - especially considering the way he looked in each match. Barboza, Lee and Dos Anjos are monsters.

Khabib is a different breed, though. Haven't been this pumped for a fight in a long time.

You seriously need to drop the "prime" nonsense. It is very subjective and pretty much irrelevant.
