It's extremely relevant as I doubt either of those guys give tony much of a challenge in their current iterations, however he was competing at the same time as them, he just wasn't at that level yet.

A bit messy but super entertaining with the high pace and volume - such tenacity shown by both fighters and a great back and forth. Tony with the meticulous body work - could see this be a deciding factor against Khabib, too - gut punches and shots to the liver could soon take the wind out of Khabib's sails.

The lw division actually seems to be in a slight lull right now. After the fight between the eagle and fergus, there aren't a lot of fresh match-ups next.

Alvarez, Gaethje, Porier, James Vick, Kevin Lee, that kid who just slept Dariush, Pettis vs Chiesa winner, Iaquinta vs Felder winner all in the mix what the fook are you talking about mate?

This type of thinking is a "prime" example of why MMA fans need to stop with this weird obsession about "prime". The definition of what constitutes "prime" is easily manipulated to fit any fanboi's whim, and it's already past the point of being super lame, so please just stop.
