FrankieNYC RIP

I don't visit the heavies much but clearly Frankie was a valuable poster and a good dude. I wish I got to know him
 
Honestly i keep checking this thread hoping it was all a very bad joke. Wish his family and friends all the best.
 
I didn't really know him that much but he was a regular poster on another site I used to post on.
What I admired about him was if a certain person, whoever it may be, would give him shit about his credentials or whatever, he would just shrug it off, in the most polite manner possible.

Again. Didn't really know him that well, but one of my good friends from the other place said how awesome he was. He seemed like a generous decent nice guy.
 
I haven't logged in for a while but I caught wind of this so I had to pay my respects.
Frankie was one of the coolest dudes on Sherdog. He was our Meltzer.

For fucks sake Shonuf's death was bad, but this one really hurts.

Rest in power my friend.

Idk the guy but he was a fighter as it seems and fighters deserve the biggest respect... someone that passed away trying to accomplish thing that he love is inspirational, those type of men died giving his entourage and us future fighter motivation to accomplish thing ourselves. Rest in peace OSU

No way. I've briefly chatted with him in a few threads, and he always did well to be understanding as well as educate people instead of taking the easy way out and agreeing to appease or ranting in anger.

His death if true, is a great loss to this site, which also means a great loss to MMA. I'd say dialogue itself has taken a huge blow today that won't be felt until the losses add up to be incalculable.

People always talked about Twitter drama but he was the guy who talked numbers and brought facts to the table.

It's nice to read so many nice and positive posts about a poster. Kind of balances out all the negativity in this place.
 
Are completely sure this is real? The hacked account possibility is gone now? No one here knew him personally? Make a call or something?
 
I was just thinking about him today, wondering what happened to him. Hadn't seen him on here for a while. He posted some really good shit, and was always likable. Now I find out he's gone....weird. RIP.
