FrankieNYC RIP

A big thank you from me to whichever mod did the right thing by pinning this thread.

Man that sucks.

I actually remember the first time he replied to me. As usual when a notification pops up, ready to fire right back at some garbage reply, then there is this polite and rational guy who makes total sense and doesn't get the slightest bit offensive despite having an other opinion.

RIP FrankieNYC

That is sad. RIP to you, sherbro. You will be missed.

I will give you my 2 cents and real experience with this. For whatever reason there seems to be a forum joke to say @LouisBolanos is dead. LB tends to leave Sherdog for longish stretches of time, the people spread the rumors, and he comes back. Every so often I get a PM about him dying but he always comes back. The first few times I freaked out, but now it doesn't bother me.

Frankie was one of two people in all that time that went out of his way to be nice to me ..... Just because. The other guy I’m responding to now.

It’s a dirty old world and it just got dirtier.

Fuck, can’t believe that. Always such a recognisable user on the forum. RIP Frankie bruh.

Damn

Can't believe I missed this

Frankie was an original

Sweet dreams dude

I remember talking to him. I post some stuff that everyone thinks is dumb outlandish stuff but Frankie always gave me a fair shake and considered my ideas without outright dismissing them. And his own ideas and sports entertainment industry knowledge were always enlightening. I remember him for being open minded, kind, and full of industry knowledge. I can only name 2 or 3 posters for any reasons and he was one of those rememberable posters just for those before-mentioned reasons.

Seemed like a nice guy.
He seemed a smart, affable, common sense man that was well liked.
Wish his cared ones and family well.

Jesus Christ, haven’t been online in a couple days. FrankieNYC was literally the only person I considered a friend here, had many awesome conversations with him about the business of MMA and wrestling

Cannot say I knew him closely but he always seemed a nice and smart guy. RIP Frankie.

That is very sad. I argued with him from time to time. Now I feel bad. Poor fella. Hope his loved ones are OK.
