Look. This is sat in worldwide MMA with a few replies.

It should be here.

Frank was Zuffa from early HW action and evolved with the landscape.

Had some cracking fights. Not toooo many stinkers fortunately but a massive part of HW history.
From his early career, painful looking submissions to a few highlight reel k.os.
Even his losses were pretty dramatic.
I hope post-fighting landscape works out well for him. It is a long history for a career.

Maybe his daughter will do well.
She is in good hands.

The original Big Frank.

Honestly some of these veterans retired years ago, they just continued longer than they should've. Mir lost his chin and really got wobbled from anything later on. Wish he retired awhile ago for his own health, but he's a grown man and has to live with his choices.

Took a bit for me to become a fan of Mir but must say I'm fond of him as an individual (little that I know) and appreciate his career and contributions greatly.

Also much hespect for him fostering the next generation (Bella) and his desire to make MMA a better space.

he was still fighting??? i literally can't believe that, thought he retired like five years ago.

I hope he focuses on coaching his daughter and not on politics

It's a free country, he can do what he wants, but seeing him in a suit, next to Tito, at a political convention, it's just fooking gross.

It would be hard to find someone that doesn’t like Mir

hespect

He was one of most disliked fighters on SD as far as I remember, lol. Or at least mildly disliked, not Jon Jones, War Machine etc. grade, of course.

But yeah, he's one of JBG finest, no doubt, so respect.

Was always a fan with tons of frustrating losses to watch but the wins were usually big. It's definitely time though. I'll have to remember to tune in.
