Francis wont make a big bag even if he gets a fight with Fury or Wilder

A whole quarter??? Wow!

Don't be a dumba$$. You can get a title eliminator in the UFC after a 24 month drug ban.

He’s not in the UFC, genius. He is a free agent in no man’s land. His value diminishes by the day and if Jones defends, he may find himself back in the sand mines in order to afford any more 500k watches.

As if the "sand mines" are his only option if he doesn't fight Fury, lmao. And Yeah, the UFC never brings back fighters

He's not fighting Fury and if he does fight Fury he's getting paid his worth which is low. And no doubt he can go back to the UFC but for less than the previous offer.

Hear me out on here.

Everyday that goes by, his market value goes down. People were intrigued because he was the UFC Heavyweight champion, the baddest man on the planet. Now 99% think Jon would beaten him. Its also easy to point out that he got outstrucked by Gane.

Realistically there are two options, Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder, that Francis probably thinks will make him +10 million but I honestly thinks he is so wrong.

Boxing fans are pissed and fed up with Fury for fumbling the undisputed fight with Usyk. Imagine the outrage if he now annouces he will instead fight Ngannou. People wont care and will boycot it. Even if he gets the fight, if Fury wants 70% of the purse against Usyk who hold three championship belts, he will offer Ngannou way less. Chisora got 4 million and he is more of a household name than Ngannou.

Wilder on the other hand is not a draw by himself. His last PPV did 75k buys. He is adamant of getting his belts back so fight with Francis does absolutely nothing for him. Wilder also would take lion share of the purse which Im afraid even wont be that big.

Francis could have been a mega star by beating Jon but instead chose to make one of the biggest mistakes in the history of combat sport in my humble opinion.

Way to steal The Weasel's content. I mean you regurgitate it word for word and dont even acknowledge that those are his thoughts/opinions and not your own? Im sure The Weasel would be flattered IF you would have credited him but you didnt you tried to look smart when ironically it just made you look dumb AF.

4 years ago when he was the undefeated champion. So just now he did 75k buys but because he did less than average UFC PPV 4 years ago means he is a draw? Interesting logic there.
He did 75K draws fighting an absolute nobody that no one cared about and that almost no one ever heard about, in a non-title, nothing fight.

So, yeah, he's a draw. Not because of it. It's an irrelevant data point because it doesn't demonstrate anything.

Find anyone who would draw significantly fighting a nobody in a meaningless fight.

My original point is that he didn't sign the contract for non-monetary reasons so he didn't sign it. It's proven by what he's conveyed through his coach in public, as I've posted several times above and I'm posting again below. You don't have anything to the contrary. That's it.

No, his coach says right here it wasn't the money. "The money was there — that’s not what moves him,” Nicksick said. “It wasn’t the money that was moving him, it was other things, other terms, some sticking points that he couldn’t waver on. So kudos to him. This is what he wanted and that’s why I love the guy.”

The sticking point was he wanted a fat boxing payday and the UFC money. But UFC wouldn't budge on allowing their reigning HW Champ to box so that's when Ngannou angled as being about fighter rights and health insurance but you can be sure he's not making those demands of the other promoters he works with.

Can you afford to buy a 500k watch if you’re broke?

Dude made millions in the UFC. Someone who is broke doesnt fly around in private jets and turns down 8mio asking for 30…

You don't seem to understand that level of spending is exactly why a fighter would become broke. Look no further than Tyson, who earned about what, 100 times more than Ngannou? And somehow still blazed through it.

The one exception is if you have Floyd money.

he will get paid if he fight Deontay Wilder

and there is some stupid money in the middle east,
if he fight in Dubai or Saudi Arabia, he will get paid a little fortune

the thing right now is that the Boxers are the guys who decide,
Wilder said that he want Usyk or Ruiz for his next fight

and Wilder would be the best fight for Francis

Yeah, I agree. I think that insurance demand and fighters association or whatever was more of a PR move for ngannou in the negotiations process. I don't blame him, as the UFC spews BS to the press all the time as part of a PR smear to manipulate fighters.

Disagree... he won't make as much as Conor, but he'll make his entire UFC contract in one fight for sure.

And IF he by some miracle does well (doesn't have to win, just look good and not get stopped), his marketability will go through the roof; compared to the UFC where he had nowhere to go but down in the UFC.

- Dillian Whyte made about $7 million for his fight vs Tyson Fury, even if Ngannou got the same that isn't "make his entire UFC contract in one fight."
- Robert Helenius made about $1 million to fight Deontay Wilder, there's even less money to be made in fighting him.
- Ngannou's future fights have no ability to use a single highlight of his (the Stipe, Overeem KO's etc, take your pick) to promote the event given the UFC owns all the rights to it.
- He will have been inactive for over a year and a half by the time he fights again, the longer he's gone the less the casual fans will care when he returns.

He was gonna make £8m to fight Jones.

PFL, Bellator and One wouldn't be able to afford to pay him a quarter of that.

Exactly. Not to mention he’s pushing 37 with a bum knee.

This is borderline delusional. He’s not a draw like Conor was and he won’t be fighting Floyd. There is no Superfight for him without the UFC to co-promote him. He fucked his entire career up.
