Francis was the most technical striker at hw

That Roz flurry gets used over and over but the reality is in that most of his modern fights (aside from Stipe 1) he was able to avoid getting hit while landing his own shots. If you're just a brawler you're going to generally have to walk through hell to land your shot, like Roy Nelson for example.

Ngannou beat Stipe in the second fight not only because of power, but he also generally out struck him. Granted he looked almost helpless standing against Gane, but there is the possible injury factor in that one, in addition to Gane just being that good of a striker for a HW.

....and yet he became champ by sending stipe to the shadow realm and then beat the no. 1 contender.

Agreed, ufc sucks and their new "baddest man on the planet" is just some marketing.

U can't teach this
In that gif you also see the best ref in all of fight sports, show everyone how it's done. It's easy to be in the middle of the action, to see the fight as it's happening and stop the fight in time for the losing fighter not to take unnecessary punishment - but that's for other refs. Big Dan has a better way - walk casually along the perimeter of the octagon, on the opposite side of the action, occasionally glancing (not too hard) in the direction of the action. If and when something happens (like a fighter is already out), then the majestic beast that is Dan leaps across the cage in a mere 90 seconds, fierce as a panther and graceful as a gazelle, and stops the fight (or doesn't, it's whatever). Watch and learn kids.

The more often I watch that Rozenstruik Ngannou Gif it gets even crazier, he basically launched himself at his chin fucking brutal.
