Pure striking only? Has to be Ngannou. Anyone that says Overeem -- he got destroyed by Ngannou. I don't see the best version of Overeem beating the best version of Ngannou.

Cro Cop was pretty nasty in his day with his high kick, if he didn't have to worry about the takedown. Other than that, maybe Mark Hunt.

Many other strikers would look much better than Ngannou did.

Even Gane would look better.

Ngannou is known for his hands but his technical skills are not at the top even looking at just boxing

i can't say who is the best, simply because i think Ubereem, Cro Cop, Ngannou, and JDS are too hard to pick between. but i can definitely say who ISN'T. not Gane. none of these other guys would've gotten dropped by fuckin Tai Tuivasa.
