If he comes back to the UFC, I wouldn't see it as a sign of begging Dana for scraps again, but maybe fighting is what keeps him from not spiraling worse.

They dealt with Tito. They deal with Conor. Nick Diaz, Nate Diaz, and many more. They have Bryce Mitchell on the roster. Brought back Yair. Frank isn't even close to the worst they have had on their roster. If it is something that will make them money they will consider it.

It matters to Jones, who is at the tail end of his career.

If Francis is a bigger draw, the more buys the fight gets the more PPV points Jones gets thus makes more money overall. It’s also a business for these guys as well.

No chance. UFC hates him, he aint good with them either. He just killed someone in Africa too plus no way they can come to a financial agreement.

think about it, they would probably pay Tom 5 mill or less even to fight Jones and he'd take it cause he's never made that kind of money before and legacy of beating Jones would be great for him. Think about what Francis would want. If they paid Jones 20-30 mill they'd have to give Francis something like that and there is NO CHANCE ON THIS EARTH THEY WOULD.

So even if you got past whatever's happening with Francis over there in his life and fact two sides hate each other but say they did come to the table the UFC isnt gonna pay him what he'll want. They probably wouldnt even offer him the same they offered before he left.


What should have happened is the two sides should have compromised before and worked out a deal. Let Francis box, UFC gets a piece of it and promotes it. Theyd have gotten two Francis boxing match payouts and we'd probably have gotten Francis/Jones and Francis/Tom fights by now.

I highly doubt Dana White re signs Francis and if they do it’s not going to be a good contract. So can we all agree Ngannou was greedy and money was the only thing he was going for even though he claimed he was gonna get health care, higher pay for fighters etc. Ngannou didn’t even reply back or try talk to the PFL when Pitbull reached out to him.

Ngannou did more harm than good for fighters, PFL is circle down the drain, other fighters who are inspired by Ngannous bravery that will try to do what he did is going to get hard dose of reality, Other MMA promotions are going to be cautious when it comes to paying fighters big money when they can’t bring in a profit for the company, Boxing won’t entertain bringing in ex UFC fighters because of how bad Ngannou got wrecked by Joshua, only place ex ufc fighters will be able to Box will be those Jake Paul or whatever promotion Till just fought on and they won’t be making that coveted 15million plus paydays. Look at Nate Diaz didn’t make what he thought he was going to make in Boxing. Promotions and other are not going to be offering the big paydays seeing what Coker did Bellator and what PFL did with Ngannou.

They tried. He was never a big PPV seller for the UFC. He sold around 10k for the PFL and that is after the boost from boxing.
