Jones has rarely looked good against anyone over 6'3. Only time I can think of is gus 2 and bonner. Gane is a legit Hw, moves the best and is the most accurate in the division. Jones ability to keep fights at range will be negated and his clinch work may be negated at hw.

Gane is an easier fight than Francis. If Ngannou can beat Gane on the ground, Jon should be able to sub him pretty quickly. Ngannou also has way more power than Gane. Could definately be a boring fight though if Jon just stays on the outside and kicks/jabs the whole time and Gane does leg kicks.

Yeah, this Jones vs Gane fight is a bit of a toss up. How will Jones do with the weight gain, time off, etc...? I think you are right about the wrestling aspect though. Gane sorta downplayed Jones wrestling in the press conference in comparison to his own skills & Ngannou's, but hopefully he does really think that.

Getting slept by Fury for 15 million or 20 million is a good payday but legacy wise Ngannu could've been on the Mt Rushmore of MMA heavyweights AND made 15+ million in addition to champion.
