Franny makes between 4-7 mill fighting Jones and has a better chance of winning. It would probably do big ppv numbers as well.

Frannys management are a pack of idiots

Francis wanted to do both

He wanted to fight Fury & Jones, similar to what Conor did.

But UFC said no, from what I understand.

He's not officially out, he's recovering his knee. UFC didn't want to wait cause its not guaranteed Francis accept

For a Heavyweight Gane's power seems to be very light, also he got outwrestled by Ngannou. He's a skilled striker but doesn't have the touch of death like Ngannou. He doesn't have to worry about getting starched completely out cold in 5 seconds and then eating another massive follow up shot while unconscious.

As he should. Even if he's was the highest paid HW in UFC history I can guarantee you he got lowballed. I'd be shocked if he made more than Lesnar when he was fighting. It was obvious this was the way it was going to go, but I think the disrespect Ngannou faced was more of a factor for leaving than the money.
What disrespect are you even talking about? He got offered almost everything he wanted. Got two title shots, they let him hold the belt for a year without fighting, and they offered him a ton of money.

Ngannou made a huge mistake. Got way too greedy. He could have made millions. This could have been one of the biggest fights in MMA history.

OSP was the last time I can recall Jon having fight after long layoff and he looked very bad. Let's see what type gameplan he has. Cejudo would break Gane down bad.

Ngannou actually escaped a UFC contract to become a free agent near the peak of his value. The madman actually pulled it off.

It can be rough when a champ leaves n you may feel like the true title lineage is broken n the new champ is a paper champ… this may make u feel better. Gane won rounds 1,2,5(sub attempt chains trying to finish >lay and pray while doing zero damage whatsoever) Whether or not you agree with that I am far from the only person who thinks gane won round 5 against wahhhncis…

n if Frank did come back to the ufc he would have been diminished and lose the belt in not long anyway. Nobody is ever what they were when coming back from knee issues unless yur dom cruz

for sure. McGregor/Floyd was an easy sell because audiences of both sports flocked to it and both sell PPV's on their own. Not sure how well that applies to Francis and Fury

Fury sells out 100kbstadiums when he fought chisora a third time in a fight chisora didn’t have a punchers chance. And was no interest in that fight.
Fury and Nganou the fight would do very well and would be an easy sell.

Nothing will sell like floyd vs mgregor but it would be a huge fight.

Said company would have been getting a considerable slice of the pie.
And would have to believe it would be a big enough pie to care about ala Mayweather McGregor.

There's absolutely no where near the appetite for Francis to box.

It was never simply about Francis.

If they had let him have what he wanted, every other champion would have some leverage going forward. The UFC’s entire model is fueled by exploiting fighters, they’ll never let them have flexibility or freedom.

They weren’t going to set a precedent by caving in to Ngannou.

Exactly. Very Roman. Kill 1 to teach a thousand. They'll lose a draw just to prove to the others that they won't bend or make concessions for anyone.

How did that chisora fight do on ppv?

A one night live gate no matter how huge isn't enough these days. I'm betting

That was at Tottenham stadium, it was 60k. I just checked and the fight did abysmal viewing numbera.

It’s not about exploiting them. You give every fighter flexibility and let them fight elsewhere, then you whole ufc model fails. Champions will fight once a year if we’re lucky, and divisions will be constantly held up. And guess what….. FANS would soon be moaning too.

Do not be a fool. Stadiums sell out in the UK a lot. Paddy would sell out a stadium in the UK. Check Fury PPV buys for a real view of the situation.

Ya, that's what I said. The viewings numbers which is what really matters, were not good. Honestly Fury doesn't light up the ppv #s most times, I love the guy tho.

Francis was supposedly offered the most lucrative contract in UFC heavyweight history, even more than Lesnar and he turned it down.

If I had to guess, he wants to take a beating from Fury, and get a bigger payday.

Outside of that, I don't see him being a draw anywhere.

To be fair, Conor came back to MMA and started cashing 20m dollar checks for each fight afterwards lol. UFC doesn't want to pay fighters what they're worth but Conor generated so much money they had to.
where did you hear that Conor gor 20 million for each fight?

Francis will be irrelevant outside the UFC. He better start pray Fury blesses him with a fight or else he will be broke within a couple of years.
People keep forgetting Francis is bad with money.
