That is a number Francis was not guaranteed. And he made $2.5 million in his last fight.
Judging by his recent fights, evidence suggests that Jones’ skills as a fighter have somewhat deteriorated, or at the least many in MMA have caught up with him and he’s failed to evolve. I’d even argue that Gane is the much better overall stand-up fighter between the two.

I think some of y'all are crazy throwing around 25, 20, 10 million dollar purse figures for Francis in boxing. I think he'd be fortunate if he got 20% of what Conor got to fight Mayweather.
Lol where is this 100 mills figure coming from? He is not Mayweather and Francis is not Conor.
Are you crazy, you think the PFL will pay millions? One of their highest paid star (Kayla Harrison) gets like 100K per fight (without winning the tournament), they are going to 100X their highest paid star? Don't think so.
Gane is going to bludgeon Jones. Jones is not the fighter he once was, and he's never even fought a good HW. Gane is large, strong, technical, and mobile. He's going to come straight at Jones and make him fight.Gane is an easier fight than Francis. If Ngannou can beat Gane on the ground, Jon should be able to sub him pretty quickly. Ngannou also has way more power than Gane. Could definately be a boring fight though if Jon just stays on the outside and kicks/jabs the whole time and Gane does leg kicks.
Doesn’t matter whether he wins or not, it’s all about the money. Whitaker needs a good ko, so it makes sense.Wilder would end him in R1.
I agree with most of this, but its just speculation what caused Jones's decline. He could have got bored, lazy, unmotivated, etc etc, but the fact is no one knows. You would think even a bored Jones could finish an opponent with 2 heavily comprised legs. In his prime Jones was certainly a freak, but i don't think he is that guy anymore. If he was smart he would wrestle Gane, but we will see. Jones is one of the best ever for sure just don't think he has "it" anymore. You make a very valid point, he was certainly not as dominant in those last few fights but I will offer up another potential reason. After becoming the youngest champion ever and defending the title so many times easily taking out MMA legend after legend after legend and decisively finishing his toughest opponent and only guy to hurt him (Gus) the dropoff in opponents was extreme and he just got bored, having a hard time finding motivation to put in the effort to fight complete nobodies like Reyes that he could beat in his sleep as he did.
It seems people have forgotten or maybe are new and not familiar with Jon Jones accomplishments and level of fighting but he is an extremely rare, freakishly gifted athlete, the best wrestler in UFC history who easily manhandled "Mr Olympic Wrestler", HW Champ and made him cry. Jones is a big, very strong guy that cut a ton of weight to fight at LHW and most likely could have beat Gane while he was competing at LHW. Gane looks athletic at HW in comparison to the division of Oompa Loompas. Jon Jones is a completely different beast, the only person that can beat him is himself.
I wish I could say soon. If they did get rid of Dana, you wonder what ridiculous promotion he would try to make next. When are they going to move on from The Goof?
Bisping is the dirtiest champ in UFC history. Cheated more times than Jones did and it wasn't for picograms of a ped
