Think about him being obliterated by a low level opponent in boxing. That will serious diminish his worth also in MMA but now he has a fixed contract with you for several fights. I get every promotion being very critical of allowing him boxing especially with the level his boxing is at.

It would be a different thing if he would start in a sport that is not that closely associated to your worth in MMA. F.e Michael Jordan going into Baseball. Also wIth NGannou watch his training footage. Even were it is meant to push his abilities you see the glaring holes he has in his boxing game. Ngannou is not a good boxer .
Ya I definitely get the idea of him losing his draw by losing boxing matches. Seems like they’d just say you have to give us 2 mma fights before entering the ring. But I don’t know what I’m talking, so there’s that.

Good luck to Ngannu on all his future endeavors. Maybe I will read about them one day.

You honestly believe he cares about other fighters?
Even if he doesn't care, he's put it out there. He's talked about it, bringing more light to things like health care for the fighters. He didn't have to do that, no one else has.

But I think, like many, you don't want him to succeed, and you don't care about the fighters either. I don't understand the desire to see him fail, other than being on the side of the UFC.

The guy literally asked and obtained a contract clause that guarantees a very generous purse for his opponent, something no fighter has ever done before.
But people will still argue that he only cares about himself. That's hilarious but a bit pathetic frankly.

So you wanted Francis to fail? Isn't this better for all fighters in the long run? That's not a good thing?
Hum, no. Not really. Francis not actually fighting any soon makes him irrelevant as a fighter. I doubt PFL will get their money back trying to please Francis demands. Lol @ african events, great way to bleed money.

When it happens, you can say I told you so. Until then STFU cause you are not a time traveler either.

As it stands, he fucked up. He had a contract paying millions. He had a championship belt in the top MMA org. He now has nothing but his laurel's to rest on. Until that changes, he fucked up.
Damn brooooo!!! Francis really fumbled the bag! Is your time machine broken? Did you hop into an alternate timeline instead of just going back in time?

-massive multi million dollar deal
-equity in PFL
-free to book a boxing match

I'm sorry all of your begging and pleading for Francis to fail didn't pan out :( maybe next time?

So you do want Francis to fail? Despite the positive message, PFL and Francis agreeing to it, you are looking forward to this failing?

Well, whatever then - I wish you a good day, I guess then! But I assume its cloudy wherever you are.

Lmao cue Achilles, no one will remember his name.

Frank is so overrated.

Lol at the hate Francis gets, let him live and learn. Anything would be better than the ufc at this point according to him and I believe him in his situation. At least he has a lot more integrity than these haters, and the balls to veer off and do him instead of dickriding the ufc and their fickle fanbase.

Francis wanted to do mma and box. PFL is letting him do that. He did what's best for himself. Good for him.

I agree, he seems very happy from the interview I saw with Helwani.

Ngannou is living his best life a dream come true.

The fact that nowadays there are so many MMA promotions fighters can choose from is a wonderful thing.
UFC is slowly losing its prestige and influence as more and more fighters realize they can get more than Dana's peanuts.
