He doesn’t have a fight lined up and can’t get signed. Yes, right now it’s not looking like it was a good gamble to take career wise. I don’t know how one could argue otherwise. He should have had something lined up before turning down a big offer. Jones is irrelevant to that career decision.So he is an idiot for believing Fury would fight him but he should have believed that Jones was going to show up?
Ngannou had been calling for that fight years and Jones was AWOL. Even if Ngannou signed back to the UFC there is zero guarantee Jones doesn't retire straight away.
