I think it kind of goes with what he was just saying. When you have animosity towards someone, it helps drive you. We've seen this for years. Fighters absolutely hating their opponent leading up to a fight, and their opponent is like "WTF man, him and I have never had a problem"... I think it's pretty normal to look for something in your opponent that will help push you that much harder.
