The net result of his term are a super majority in the supreme court and massive tax advantage for the rich. On top of that, he destroyed one of the most fragile yet important nuclear treaties in the world, and cost Americans billions in their trade with China because that's how tariffs work.

Bush Jr. undoubtedly had the most evil cabinet in modern history but Trump definitely had the most overtly corrupt.

When people say the "deep state" couldn't control him I wonder who they're talking about and what they mean. If there was ever a president who could be bought, it was Trump.

Shelden Adelson gave him 75 million and Donny gave Shelden's wife the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Trump is the only President in my lifetime that sold that medal.

as for the consequences ill bet he'll just stall it through the courts as long as he can and then take a plea deal that avoids doing jail time. he'll pay some fines but that'll be the end of it and he'll just end up grifting more money from his base than whatever fines he has to face. i dont really have faith in any former, current, or future president to actually serve any real time behind bars for their crimes. even though the people who make and enforce the laws should all be the ones having the book thrown at them if they break any of them. the justice system never really works like that. if you have money and influence they have to get you on something big for anything to stick. unless you're stealing money or wealth from other rich people.

so yeah i dont think donny taking some of his campaign money and using it to silence some whore he fucked is gonna be the one that ultimately brings down con man don and sends him to prison. but thats just my take on it.

I'm not a fan of Trump and would never vote for him but this kind of stuff makes me think the deep state is doing everything they can to keep him from running in 2024. When he was in power, he was wild and hard to control. I don't think they want to deal with that again and will make sure he's disqualified from running again.

More realistically, the powers that be are reluctantly pursuing Donald for blatant levels of criminality he carried out for his entire life in business that they would have otherwise ignored if he didn't do something so public as run for President. that $130,000 mugshot is probably going to be the best thing that came out of this. but michael cohen was indicted, convicted, and sent to prison just for the same charges that trump is about to be indicted for, so who really knows how this shit will play out? i just dont have my expectations that high. theres alot of other shit he should be sitting in prison for and they wont even grow a spine and prosecute him over that.

if it was just ordinary people like you and me doing half this shit, we'd already be locked up and they would have thrown away the key. aint nobody calling us up in advance and telling us they are gonna come over and search our property or letting us know that we are about to get indicted next week. they'd be kicking in our doors and surprising us with their guns drawn and dragging us out in handcuffs.
