Law Former President Donald Trump Indicted

This circus is going to help Trump

probably. Desantis finally commented on it, he is clearly annoyed by the circus of it. He realizes it will help Trump too. Damn though, he sounds pissed about having to make this statement at all lol.

edit: just saw you posted same clip

House republicans requesting the DA come in for some oversight.

i'm starting to doubt it will actually happen.

regardless, similar to the mud slinging at trump over the years, even if fake news/narratives, the mud still stains.

This gonna do the opposite and even if no arrest made now, it will make Trump still look like a victim and it took all these people coming out to warn of it helping Trump, etc to stop it from happening.

Trump now has a great narrative for him, he is either too powerful and hey need to indict him and stop him from running, but at the same time they cannot because it will make him even stronger.

Lol at people falling for him saying he's getting arrested tomorrow, this is his whole charade. No one, apart from him has said it.

Call it intellectual rot if you want to. Regardless, if your plan is to ensure Trump doesn't get reelected, reenergizing his base is a terrible way to do it. Better you let him rant his way to increased obscurity

Unless they want to build him up to threaten DeSantis more, but I think that's giving too much credit

As I said (and as you get at with the reference to RDS), the issue isn't Trump himself as much as a base that wants an authoritarian ruler who will be above the law. If you're right (and I don't think you are), sane people are in an impossible dilemma with regard to Trump: Put him in charge or elevate him above the law.

Just a reminder when considering they are trying to bust Trump on a campaign violation. From checkyourfact.com.
"In 2012, Obama’s campaign agreed to pay an administrative fine of $191,135 for a campaign finance violation committed during the 2008 presidential election. It also paid $183,865 in civil penalties, for a total of $375,000 in violations. This is the largest administrative fine ever issued by the FEC." Obama claimed "accounting errors" but the facts show he was taking in huge dollars from rich donors who had already reached their legal limit. The accounting errors were actually a coverup.

I can't think of a more effective way of ensuring Trump is the Republican nominee and that he wins the Presidency. They are making him a martyr with a Soros funded DA. This won't go well for the Democrats.
LMAO @ "Soros funded"--coded language much?

Again lol Soros-funded.

I guess a cultist didn't like the rumours.

Desantis getting roasted on thw twatter for this now lol. He was damned if he do damned if he don't.

I agree with the sentiment that Desantis dismissing the democrats and radical DAs in other states may try to go after him at some point as he takes the national stage more and more.

What do you think is going to happen here, over the next 2 years? I'm genuinely curious. I can only speculate that when it comes down to it, DeSantis gets through

Gettin' ready!

i vouch they ban the shit right out of you the moment you support or condone any acts of violence that go on tomorrow. the moment it becomes from you a bunch of sightseeing tourists just peacefully beating up cops, or the fbi or antifa and the democrats set it up, or whatever other nonsense that tuck tuck tells your toddler ass to try to downplay or excuse whatever acts of violence that may go on tomorrow, they should just dumpster your ass

you maga toddlers go have your tantrums on the streets peacefully. no cops need to be beaten with your back the blue flags this time over your extreme level of butthurt and cope. if you want to go to jail to own the libs you can always just ask a police officer politely to arrest you instead of just assaulting them.

well if they arrest him, he's getting huge publicity and basically drowns out any republican opposition.
i am not looking at tuesday as any kind of marker - they might do it next week if they will.

Relating to Trump's potential immunity from the law? I don't know all the evidence. Obviously it doesn't matter to a lot of people--any prosecution of him is going to be considered illegitimate (like he said, he could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue and not lose support). So the question for people who reject the idea that politicians should be above the law is whether the principle is worth the downside of potential riots or whatever. I think it is, but I think they're not going to push it unless they really have something strong. Also, it seems unlikely that they could get 12 people without a single crazy Trump fan. I think RDS is just a really weak politician. The GOP establishment (including Republican media) is pushing him really hard, but the public mostly isn't buying it (he's kind of JEB 2.0, though he's at least doing better than JEB did). Can't really see him beating Trump unless Trump is out of the picture, and I think Biden very likely beats him if he does.

jared the subway guy got alot of publicity after he got arrested. perhaps he should run for political office?

i'm sure his most loyal supporters would still vote for him.
