I doubt his public insanity has won over anyone. His incredibly public daily word salad probably isn't inspiring much confidence, and much of his own party has gone on record saying he needs to move on.

Also, I don't actually believe this is a matter of political enemies targeting him, I think this is a career hustler being singed by fires he hasn't put out yet. Because of who he is I doubt he's going to get burned, but it would be nice to see a few consequences for his many crimes, even if minor. I don't think that's very likely, though.

My question for people who think this is purely political:

Do you think he committed any crimes and if so do you think they should be ignored?
