Following the Advice of Experienced Lifters Over Your Own

I won't take advice from just any one person just because they are stronger or more experienced. You could go to 10 different guys more experienced and get 10 different types of conflicting advice. The key is to find what the majority agree on, and use that to influence your training, along with SELF experimentation.

i think its best to stick with one person most of the time. if you try to mix charlie francis, dan pfaff, and the alan wells training systems without a heavy training theory background, youre probably going to fail. if you learn one of the above systems and learn how they work, then implement things to compliment your regime, then youre good. if you dont have someone to copy, then you need to learn training theory very well.

Arnold told me once to scream at the top of my lungs when I posed on stage. That didn't turn out to well...

No matter what you're doing you're ignoring the advice of someone more experienced than you are.

This forum specifically turned me on to Ross, Berardi, and T-nation.

Seriously..thank you..Ross/Berardi alone have changed my lifestyle drastically.

Pointing out the obvious is so simple yet very rewarding
