Social Fixing California

California is fine, its a dynamic state that has strong representation in almost every economic center. It's just not a monolith - the talent divide is huge. The top 20% are among the, if not the very best in the country and the bottom 50 is trash.

Housing costs pushing talent out is a net positive for other states.

Lmao @ the goat state needing fixing. Try not being poor and it wouldn’t be hard to live here comfortably.

Read my posts in this thread. I make good money but still have to live an hour away from where I work because I don't want to live in the hood.

"try not being poor" lmao you're funny man

lol he probably lives in Michigan.

Cool place if you're loaded. If you aren't then it's not worth it imo. Born here and still live here but maybe not for long. I make decent dough but I have a kid now and it's tough. I could live so comfortably in many other places that are nice as well. And even the nice parts of CA are becoming increasingly not nice.

No need to read your posts. Your “good money” isn’t enough to live in the goat state. That’s understandable and nothing to be ashamed of. This place isn’t for everyone.

New York is a legit city. I'm currently chilling in NYC. Always a fun time here.

I go to New York at least once a year. Beautiful city with great steak houses etc. It's pricey but it's worth every penny.

Wrong. No matter how much money you make, in California you're sitting in your million dollar car on the 405 with the rest of us, taking in the scenery and staring at brake lights. Enjoy your goatshit state!

I've lived in two other states. I'm sure I would miss certain things but my overall quality of life would be higher with more financial freedom. I have family (as does my wife) in other states as well and that counts for a lot. As I said earlier the big change was having a child.

Having a good job isn't enough in coastal CA, and even some inland areas. You have to be rich or content yourself and family with a dumpy ass apartment condo that eats up half your monthly pay.

You obviously have no idea who you are quoting when speaking to Revolver.
