Fish tacos = the best surprise

Never tried cabbage in tacos before.

I don't generally do cheese in fish tacos, but when I do use cheese for Mexican, I use Oaxaca cheese or queso fresco from the local Mexican supermarkets.

I'm lazy about chopping vegetables, so I usually just pick up pico de gallo from the market, chop cilantro, liberally apply lime juice and booyakasha.

Personally, I'm a double layer of corn tortilla guy myself.

Out here we have a lot of tuna fish tacos, or flounder fish tacos.

-For my slaw I use red and green shredded cabbage, paper-thin slices of red onion, and a whole bunch of chopped cilantro. Then I add just enough oil to make it shiny, and add salt, pepper, and a few squirts of sri racha until the white cabbage has a pink hue when it's all tossed together.

-No cheese on the fish taco!

-I prefer grilled fish but fried is good as long as it's crispy and not soggy/greasy

-Double layer of corn tortilla

-Some people like avocado slices and sour cream, but I just eat fish and slaw most of the time when I make these.

Fish tacos are awesome. Same with shrimp
