FISA Abuse Memo, prediction thread (update post 120 maybe)

Yet, when they got their evidence squared away a judge approved it and kept re-approving the warrant..

Hmmmm.....

What does that have to do with what I wrote? It was denied several times.

Now these are obviously people well versed in the process of getting fisa warrants. As in, what is likely to be approved or not. And yet they went there with insufficient evidence several times.
The fact that so few are denied, .01% says Fawlty, indicates that agents won't even bother applying unless they are sure.

And yet, these agents did try. .. With insufficient evidence multiple times. That suggests they were very motivated to get this warrant. Possibly even over zealous.

I think it's important to find out everything there is to know.
What evidence was brought initially?
What evidence was added to eventually get the warrant?
At what point was the dossier introduced?
Did anyone know it was garbage?

Etc..etc....etc...Under oath.

So let's get this special counsel rolling. Who knows what else we'll find once we get in there right?

They didn't fabricate it, but the Russians did. So same difference as far as the warrant goes. It was still based on a fabricated document corroborated by a bogus Yahoo article that was written by Steele. They also never disclosed that it was opposition research paid for by the Clinton Campaign. Seems to me there's enough there to qualify as more than a "nothing burger" as some are calling this.
The report was not fabricated and the memo isn't even alleging that it was.

The fact is, it has turned out to be accurate on a lot of counts. Manafort, Page, and Flynn were all named, and Cohen's connection with Peskov was in there, too. The Russians using cyber-space to influence the election and Manafort managing the campaign's connection with the Kremlin; all true.

This 100% has to be a troll post. No one in real life could possibly be this stupid.

"Democrats would have no reason to claim the memo itself is a fabrication if the dossier was verified and met the standard for "evidence" of collusion."

What the fuck are you talking about?

The reason they would claim it's bullshit, is because Nunes' memo is bullshit. Not to mention that stating the only reason to claim the memo is fabricated is if the dossier is fabricated is farcically dumb. That sentence that you typed out is a fucking affront to god.

You like to name call like a child, and you provided no reasons for your conclusion. You lack the cognitive skills to keep up. The memo alleges that the FISA warrant was obtained illegally because it relied primarily or entirely on the dossier. If the dossier was 100% truthful and verified, then this allegation would have no significance. And yet, Democratic leadership is stressed over the allegation, and trying to spin and discredit...

Nancy Pelosi’s CNN interview told a lot of the story. Her spin about taxes and dreamers was great. It was like a Barry Bonds steroid interview lol

If you are correct that it's 99.9 then what does it say about their evidence that they were denied several times?
It's just a process you don't understand. I'm not trying to be a dick either so just take this for what it is. In brief, when applying for one of these warrants you don't waste time compiling overkill of info because they are time sensitive. You prep the least amount necessary to attain the warrant to you get the show on the road, as they say.

In the end, if it's approved, that is all that matters.

No I'm not well versed in it. I never heard of before Trump. I'm just thinking logically about the little invite I have.

They were still denied several times is that correct?

It's very unusual to get denied correct? 99.9 approval. Correct?

And if time is of the essence as you say I would want to get it did the first try. As in, bring sufficient, reliable evidence so I don't have to keep coming back.

Kind of a long thread fellers, didn't read.

Just one question, is this it?

I'm curious to know what court you preside over since you are so informed on all legal proceedings. A warrant of that magnitude is not obtained quickly and with little detail as it involves spying on a citizen protected by the constitution. You must provide information indicating probable cause to which the judge will grant a warrant.

You have no idea what you are talking about and choice to tow your parties line instead of seeing the abuse of power.

The evidence was always there, it just has to be compiled and presented in a proper fashion, which takes time. In hindsight, yes, it would have saved everyone time if they had compil

It's not necessary to be a judge to understand the process. Don't be silly. The fact anyone is defending an idiot goofball hack like Carter Page ridiculous.

This investigation isn't going to stop until completed. People just need to accept that. From the outset, if you want someone to blame for this mess, blame Popadapoulos for getting drunk and shooting his mouth off about Russian collusion and blame Donald Trump for playing around with someone out of his league in Jim Comey. Fucking around with and trashing the FBI is a really bonehead move.

He literally throws out insults in every thread.

Can someone just charge Hillary with a crime already so all this drama can just go away and the country can focus on more important issues like removing confederate statues, getting an accurate count on how many times Rose McGowan’s poon has been destroyed, and whether or not tide pods are best for breakfast or dinner?

So you're telling me that these guys who do this on a regular basis don't know how to compile shit right? So much so that they have to come back multiple times?
And yet it's also true that 99.9% of the time they get it first try?

Doesn't add up.

Interesting last point you made. Are you implying that the fbi can be vengeful? That he shouldn't have fired Comey and this is retribution?

It's ok don't answer. We all knew this already

That's not what I said at all. And I certainly never said they get approved on the first try...I actually said that doesn't matter, what matters is that it gets approved.

It seems to me you have your mind made up so carry on. The truth will come out in the end and there are few people as universally respected as Bob Mueller.

He 100% should not have messed around with Comey. Objectively from Trump's perspective, that was incredibly dumb. That firing is why the special counsel was triggered. Fair or not, that was Trump's fuck up.

The report was not fabricated and the memo isn't even alleging that it was.

The memo doesn't need to. It's common knowledge that the Russians fabricated the Dossier. You really think Trump asked a Hooker to Pee on his bed? Lol. It was chock full of salacious and unverified material, and that's a quote from Comey himself which he told to President Trump in their now notorious meeting. It's on record.

Andrew McCabe also testified in 2017 that "without the Dossier there would have been no Warrant". That's a fact and that's also on record. The rest is just noise.

People are not defending Page, they are upset at obvious abuses of high order surveillance warrants by our intelligence agency. You understand I would be pissed regardless of political affililiation as it is a breach of our constitution. I don't know enough about Page to comment on whether he is a good ball hack but all US citizens have certain unalienable rights.

I wish you were not so wound up in this Russia collusion farce then you could possibly have a logical debate. I want the investigation to complete and anyone found to be intentionally violating the constitution should be punished. The FBI is being purged of corruption and partisanship and the President has not backed down.

I have to wonder sometimes if there are people out there who don't really want to know the truth and simply want to "be right" and by proxy for Trump to "be wrong" and the ends justify the means... Its the only explanation for seemingly intelligent people to be so one sided and blind to facts that don't support their narrative.

It's sad what it's come to. The media on both sides are biased. People HAVE to listen to and read material put out by people on the other side and make their own determination. If they are counting on CNN or FOX News to be completely accurate they're kidding themselves. Assuming of course, those folks are even interested in the truth and not just in "winning".
