Not really a huge assumption at all that the FBI used an unverified Dossier and hid material facts from the FISA Judge in order to get it granted. I think that's pretty hard to dispute at this point. It's also not a huge leap to think if the FISA judge had known the origin and who paid for it, and knew that it had been shopped around to various News Sources (and turned down) AND that the corroborating story was a planted story by Steele himself that he wouldn't have granted the warrant. That's precisely why (IMO) the FBI hid those details from the Court.

I will say I am glad things like both parties paying for dirt on their opponents and so many high ranking officials in cahoots with foreigners are being dragged into the sunlight. Our government stinks to high heaven. I'll take the FBI over that group of useless twats any day, and I hope this investigation continues until it brings down every crook it can find.

Yeah. I think that's obvious to anyone who is reading the article with a clear mind. Schiff is just spinning and giving an excuse to those who need one to continue this ridiculous narrative that the Memo is a "nothing burger". It's far from it and the coming days are going to be brutal for the Dems. It's so ironic that they are getting exposed for everything they've accused the Trump campaign of. Having said that, I'm glad ALL of this is coming on both sides. Our Govt. is corrupt and our political system is becoming broken beyond all recognition. To what extent we are only beginning to find out. So on that point we can definitely agree. Exactly, and make no mistake, Schiff knows it. He's just trying to Schiff the narrative. If those material omissions had been included in the application, the Warrant would never have been granted, and it's precisely why they felt the need to hide that information from the FISA judges.

If mueller has an impeachable case against Trump, he will wait until after the mid term to avoid any republican denialism if possible. But he may have no need for that if the evidence is sufficiently damning to the point where it would be impossible for Republicans to deny.
