Because I was under the impression this bill cast a very negative light on some Ds and the Rs were excited about sharing it with the public. CNN I figured would be downplaying it and Fox News ballz to the wallz

CNN just wants ratings. They don't have the same kind of narrative slant that Fox News does.

Are you sure? The audience is probably looking for that.

CNN is perhaps more clever about the slant and plays up to an audience that expects to be massaged a bit more intellectually.

But full disclosure:

I have not watched a newscast outside of idly hearing in various airport hubs in a few years.

Yes, yes, but from afar it feels like "something happening" has a lot more hype these days than in the past.

I thought it was rather novel as a very youngin' watching the breathless OJ Simpson coverage. When I stopped watching cable news everything and then some seemed to be an ALERT.

Just as a hunch, I feel it has gotten worse on cable news.
