Finnegan's Wake

I don't even know your last name. I always assumed it was Morris.

I just made myself chuckle.

At least you didn't say "The Leggo Maniac."

By the way, if anyone ever calls me that, God will have to turn the city I'm in to salt to cover up what I've done to them. Fair warning.

So...you'll let us know if you ever step foot in a city we hate, right? ^_^

I will not get involved in any Ohio/ Michigan shenanigans.

ohio has redeemed itself in my eyes recently.. but being from indiana (the red-headed cousin of illinois), we just make fun of all of you.

Lol, wow I often forget about that rivalry. In fact the only time I'm reminded is when I'm in Indiana. I live in a bubble town. Apparently it does have an up to it after all.

thanks for the recommend on the lightbulbs. i got some cheap 1500 lumen lights today. i don't know about the vit d3 synthesis but it's a lot brighter and makes my place less dreary.

anything i need to know about these lights? too much exposure possible?

Steven aren't you worried that if someone does find this log they'll look back at the earlier pages?

Who the fuck is Steven?
Edit- Nevermind

I read that in Xtrainers thread. Funny shit. And true. And EVIL.

I agree about the whole keeping your name off the net. Only reason I did the am tags thing was my sponsor(s) kinda wanted me too. Since I'm not fighting anytime soon I'm not too worried about it.

I just googled my name, and the first 5 were Sherdog related, then my last fight. My others ones don't even come up.

So uh....hows them 1 legged curls on a ball working out for you? I heard it was your secret weapon for this upcoming fight Steven....

lol...

Nah Finn I understand the paranoia....duly noted BB about the stuff...definitely dont want to give your opponent any reason to become more motivated/driven....or to devulge training secrets....but uh...seriously keep curling away....gonna choke the motha fucka out with your 20 inch gunz....

On a side note I would still keep a journal of everything you're doing on your home computer....

I'm still journaling. This has been a tremendous help so far.

The videos and stuff on lockdown is nice. I don't think the log is too damming though. If anything it would intimidate me.

Finnegan is stronger than probably 99% of professional MMA fighters, he has the conditioning to match, and he has a work ethic unparalleled on this forum. I'd probably withdraw.

Impressions:
Good workout this morning. I'm a pound and half over 225, so no deadlift challenge today. I may have to let my number stand and just do this one after my fight for the 100 reps/ 5 minutes. Its getting pretty close, and I need to focusing on skill specific/ conditioning.

Weight Cutting:
1 hour.

Today, I decided to see how my body would react to cutting a couple pounds of water. I weighed myself in at 227.3 lbs before my morning piss. I ate a bowl of oatmeal, drank 20 oz of water w/ Greens + and a scoop of whey with 12 oz of Accelerade.
I put on the sauna suit, and did some light exercise for 30 minutes. Just some sit ups, a few ab wheel rollouts, some dumbell rows, raked the yard, jogged around the block.
Then, I sat still under a blanket w/ the suit on for 30 minutes. Took a piss. Result: I weighed in at 226. 4 lbs. So yeah, that was easy.
Rehydrated w/ 32 oz water, another Accelerade, and a meal.

Impressions:
Looks like I can drop 3-4 lbs of water without really noticing any effects. Felt fine. Could still spit, etc.

...wait a minute...you jogged? I don't think I've ever heard you doing that, you usually sprint. Although I imagine sprinting with a sauna suit = not so great results.

HAHA, I was thinking the same thing.

Ya man, in my limited experience most people don't have to much problem dropping a few. You're also very knowledgeable nutrition wise, and this is very helpful I think.

Fuck I'm stoked for your fight. I wish there was a live feed or something, I'd grab a 6er and watch for sure.

I'm also stealing your workout from yesterday morning for mine tomorrow.

I think it's when you start getting near the 7-10 that i'll have to do for naga that you start running into the problems.
