Finnegan's Wake

yeah something crazy, like woodbusting while spinning fire

All of the above and maybe a flaming drunk guy.

EDIT:
And by "flaming drunk guy" I mean an intoxicated man set ablaze, not a fruity fucker who's had too many cocktails.

All of the above.

I also want to see some hot chicks going at each other down by the fire while you pour liquor on their heads.

Okay. I'm back in town. I can't even begin to recap everything that happened. Can't post pics from work, but they will be soon fortcoming.
Important parts:
*15 foot tall cabin bonfire on Friday
*10 foot tall chimney log bonfire on Saturday.
*Crazy, unchecked debauchery every night.
*lost 1/4th of my right eyebrow to the fire.

I'll see what all pics are safe to post when I get home. Lets just say this was one wild event.

First off, this was an adults only festival. Second, this was the most intense 6 days of my life. Suffice to say that it was a mixture of Burning Man and the movie Eyes Wide Shut.
Weds:
Woodbusting: 6 hours. This was a pre setup day for this event. We got the clearance from the site owners to cut some trees down and fired up the chainsaws. We also did a little bit of designing for a log sled that should save us some time/ energy. People started showing for the event. The organizers asked us if we would mind building a small fire for the early attendees. Since this wasn't an official night, we drank a bit more than normal.
Firetending: 8 hours
This was an easy shift. I did some drumming, but my arms were sore as hell from woodbusting.
Thursday:
Woodbusting: 8 hours
More people arrive. The woodbusting crew got started early. We ended up in a dry creekbed. A couple of large trees had fallen that we could easily get the ATV and trailer to, so we climbed up the side of the hill (very steep, approximately 65 degree angle. It was more like rock climbing than woodbusting. This was brutal. I was the middle man who had to toss the logs to the loaders at the bottom. The cutters had footholds, handholds, etc from the cut trees. Not me. I spent two solid hours climbing across, up, and down this hill. I nearly passed out when it was over. Some of the logs we cut were 6 feet long and 24-30" thick. Loading those was equally as unpleasant. After this, we ate, and built the fire.

Firetending: 8 hours
This fire was simple in design. We had a 6 foot chimney stump that we had pulled out of the creek. We surrounded it with smaller logs, and more or less were able to forget about it. We threw a few more stumps in as the night went by. I was fortunate enough to spend a few hours away from the fire with a lovely young woman, however I was so exhausted that I nearly fell asleep every minute.
1 hour nap.
Friday:
Woodbusting: 3 hours
This was the easiest bust of the event. We dropped 5 trees along the roadside, and cut them up for a massive cabin that we dubbed "Fort Ex". It was 15 feet tall with a flag pole and everything. I have pictures of this that will be forthcoming. I know I have pics of it on fire, but I also have some w/ me in my St. Wilhelm's shirt. They need cleaned up though.
I got a massage after this session. The massuesse told me that I had the worst knots in my legs that she had ever seen. I believe her.
There was a fire cup suspension event. Basically, the body mod artist used fire cups to get ahold of some skin, and lifted a woman off the ground. The pics are too graphic to show, but do a google image search and you'll see what I saw. It was fucking disturbing.
This night was crazy. As darkness fell, one couldn't walk in any direction without hearing drunk people screwing in the darkness. I felt like I was a scene from The Wicker Man. I spun fire (4 foot sword) again, this time with a partner who was doing dual batons at the same time. I ended up not alone again this night.
Sleep: 3 hours
Saturday: I took the day off of woodbusting. I just couldn't go anymore. I waited until it was time to build the fire. The chimney log that we had cut was huge; about 9 feet tall and 3 feet around. We tried for a long time to manhandle the thing up, but it just wasn't happening. Finally, we had to use a tractor, ropes, and poles to get thing up. It took about a ton of wood just to brace the thing.
The debauchery started after 10 PM. The main course of the evening was a nude woman covered in chocolate and syrups with fruit surrounding her. Alcohol flowed constantly. The drums went all night and well into the late morning. I was off duty this night, and I fully exploited the oppurtunities presented. Lots of people, myself included, were in costume for this party. I can't really go into any more details without incriminating myself.

Again, pics are forthcoming.

Did you tap the naked chocolate lady?

Oh yeah, and Sunday we did have a fire. It was smaller. It was more or less just a fun fire for the organizers and event teams. 6 foot chimney, nothing too complicated.
