Finnegan's Wake

Well, it says "Highland" in the name, though I doubt it was Anal. And it was 14 hours ago, so probably your first round of PM's.

Resend them and tell 'em to knock it the fuck off

Also, the only name I can think for you is "Bezercher".

Usually I'm pretty good with that sort of thing.

From what I heard anything but the Concept II rowing machines are bullcrap. But those are expensive. So if it works for you with this one it is all good I guess.

Wasn't me. I haven't even gone to look at it yet, and my Youtube name is pretty tellin'.

Its worth the 5 bucks I paid for it. No way would I buy one new. I'll keep an eye out for the concept II

Gear Recieved: Fairtex Thai pads

Impressions: I'm sure they are awesome, but since I just got a cyst removed from my neck and am on a mandatory three day training lay-off, I just have to pet them for now.

Nice, gotta love buying new Fairtex gear. Its like the porsche of Thai gear :) Did you get the extra thick ones or the regulars?

I just used new Twins from Thailand. Fucking hard, and the guy kept turning them into me. I have a nice bruise about 3" from my right knee.

Regulars. Hoping they live up to the hype. I used a pair briefly to warm up for my first fight, but nothing in an extended pad session.

Hey Finn, other than like swings and levering, do you have any good sledgehammer exercises?

GnP training. Roll up some carpet remants or use an old heavybag that you don't need anymore, grip it right under the hammerhead, and hit the bag like you are punching it w/ the hammer.

Well, the guy I thought I was going to be fighting is turning pro.
Once again, no idea who I'm fighting now.

Once again, no idea who I'm fighting now.

This sounds familiar!

I've been telling myself, actually a little mantra: "Less thinking, more do." To me it just means: regardless of the circumstances, I'll be standing across from someone on June 14th, ready to give them one helluva' knuckle sandwich...

I've had my opponent changed 4 times in 4 weeks once. Until your actually in the ring(or cage) then you never know who, or even IF, you're going to fight.

Also:

I bet Fin would do well against a pro.

I don't need to know what weight class, but has it been established?

Rack Pulls:
225 x 3
315 x 3
405 x 3
455 x 1
505 x 1/ felt my stitches stretching so I called it at this.

Slam Ball medley:
5 minutes of more or less going crazy w/ a 20lbs medicine ball rolled up in a towel like a giant billiard ball. Slammed it against the tire, my sandbag, two handed, one handed, swings, side to side, etc.

Impressions:
Not a bad night. Wish I could do more but my stitches were starting to let me know that 5 days isnt really enough time to heal from an incision. Anyway, I made the most out of it.
Very happy w/ my performance on the DB snatches. Switched up the rep scheme to 30/30/5/5/5/5/3...
