I met him once, nice guy.

I had an ex who went to the show in Sacramento and got me a signed glove. When we broke up i threw that and the pair of diesel shoes i got from her in the trash. Looking back i shouldn't have!
 
Georges strikes me as a good dude. Even though I was never a huge fan, I always appreciated the way he carried himself. A true champ in and put of the cage.

If my wife did that, I'd be forced to pull the grenade from my pocket, give them both a hug, and behind their backs, pull the pin. But then again, I'm not good cuckold material.
 
GSP definitely doesn't drive a Lambo. He's a Range Rover guy, everyone in Montreal knows this. Besides, who drives to Las Vegas? Maybe it was lend to him or he's sponsored but that is definitely not his car.

Like I said, nobody drive his car in Las Vegas, unless you live there.
 
That's pretty fucking awesome, mate, I'm glad for you. As you can see by my profile pic, Georges is my favourite fighter as well and I wish I can meet him eventually too. Nice photos!
 
GSP is no taller than 5ft9. And he looks it too.

When I saw him in BKK, he looked quite a bit bigger and did say he was walking around at about 198 which was 10 lbs heavier than normal. I don't want to derail by posting a pic, but he basically said it was a side effect of training for other disciplines (sounded like he had been focusing on gymnastics). I guess just less cardio than he typically does during mma training? He also said the same thing about coming back to fight, and really seems like he is truly just feeling it out and if the passion is there great. If not, he'll just keep doing what he is doing, enjoying life. He was pretty candid about talking about OCD too, said it both really helped him and hurt him in MMA. Interesting dude for sure, and as everyone always says, ridiculously nice guy.

Also, he is definitely taller than 5'10". I am 5'10" and he is right about an inch taller than I am.
 
gsp dresses so poorly... and Im starting to doubt his 5 10-5 11 height stats he claims..

when anderson made his ufc debut against leben he was listed as 5 10.. now hes 6 3.. u cant trust the ufc.

I agree with this completely- I think GSP is torn, and this dichotomy is what has kept an official “im returning/im done” announcement from being made.

In general, im a much bigger fan of Dana the promoter than GSP the fighter (I know, I know) but here im all with GSP.

what they did to him, particularly trying to keep im out of the presser, was one of the most indefensibly embarrassing and shitty things ive seen.

Almost always I agree with Dana over the fans whining about him, but that was terrible- definitely his “Cyborg-and-the-scale” moment..

If I were GSP, I would have a lot of trouble forgiving Dana without a much more humble, sincere public apology.

Or, I would just eat it all, quietly, until I was back in the company, and then once the mike, the lights, and the attention was on me, i would use every chance I got to punk Dana out, airing every behind-the-scenes-story I could that would make Dana look bad.


But GSP has a lot more class than me.
