I think he is really ambivalent about it. I bet he wants to, and I bet he is still so pissed at the UFC.
I agree with this completely- I think GSP is torn, and this dichotomy is what has kept an official “im returning/im done” announcement from being made.
In general, im a much bigger fan of Dana the promoter than GSP the fighter (I know, I know) but here im all with GSP.
what they did to him, particularly trying to keep im out of the presser, was one of the most indefensibly embarrassing and shitty things ive seen.
Almost always I agree with Dana over the fans whining about him, but that was terrible- definitely his “Cyborg-and-the-scale” moment..
If I were GSP, I would have a lot of trouble forgiving Dana without a much more humble, sincere public apology.
Or, I would just eat it all, quietly, until I was back in the company, and then once the mike, the lights, and the attention was on me, i would use every chance I got to punk Dana out, airing every behind-the-scenes-story I could that would make Dana look bad.
But GSP has a lot more class than me.
