Marciano was bigger, his build his shoulders his hands just indicated he was a guy with naturally heavy hands. My oldest uncle was identical to the guy not just in the face but even physically, his hands and shoulders were huge. Used to throw 100lbs sacks of vegetables etc at the farm over his shoulder like nothing. He was lefty. Heard he was confronted outside a bar one time by two dudes. Dropped one with one shot other took one look and ran.

It’s pretty visible when a guy might just have those bull genes in them. But if you see guys who ever accused of loading. They have similar traits you can see that doesn’t make sense. They typically bust people pretty bad in an unusual way but don’t have the natural pop to put them out, this leads the opponent to a horrid prolonged beating. We saw it in Resto, we saw it in Marg. So I don’t know what to think of Chavez but I can see what people are saying.

Not sure but it seems that someone is upset and crying about a mexican who beat a lot of people up going on 20ish yrs ago now? Anyway, as I stated earlier, given that team representatives are watching the handwrapping, as well as commission representatives, Chavez having 100+ fights provides for that many opportunities to be caught red handed doing something wrong if you are doing something wrong. Maybe his earlier fights held at the beginning of his career wouldn't have had the same handwrapping customs or protocol, but most certainly they would by the time he began fighting in LA. I remember reading somewhere that when you are a heavy handed power puncher, but your power is just below the limit where you can frequently get guys out with 1 or a minimal number of shots, and you have fights that get into the later rounds, that is thought to often be the cause of guys who look the way guys do when they are beaten to pulp by their opponent. I have watched a TON of Chavez fights, and his stoppages more often than not came in the middle to late rounds via accumulation of punishment.

Hahaha well at least they couldn’t accuse him of tampering with the gloves, as every blow he’d land would be as natural as it gets hehe.
