Also this game was said to have support for at least 3 seasons, so I'm curious if that means we're getting 12 characters this year.

Yep, and this will finish around EVO, so they can push out a trailer for a 3rd season at that time.

Character once a month = Fucking Win

Instant purchase. Great characters. SNK is killing it lately. I hope this game continues to grow and get popular.

I sincerely doubt it gets much more popular. As good as it is they have a lot of work to do with the IP in general. It is a good game, but even I have issues with playing it at this point. It's the first time in fighting game I enjoy where I dont want to explore more. I play Marco an Marco, and when new characters come out I lab them for a bit and go back to Marco.

I really did think on release I'd play Gato or Kevin.

Not gonna lie to you, I'm hoping for a 6 button CvS3 with all these characters. Hopefully it would generate more crossover appeal.

Marco is the shit. He's my favorite as well. There are going to be balance changes too.

It may not get huge but think it will increase in popularity. SNK has some good money backing them now so they'll push hard.

And yeah, I agree CVS3 with this game system would be awesome. I prefer 4 button layout though. I'd much prefer it over using the SF6 system. This game feels so much tighter and oldschool.

CVS3 is happening I can feel it in my bones, capcom/SNK and the saudis can make it happen. I hope it's 6 buttons tho.


I love City of the wolves. such a fun game, it's better than SFVI if im honest. the newest character is going to be kenshiro from fist of the north star.


but like you @Croaker I thought I was a kevin main. but I always end up back on rock howard.

People are going to have to learn to get over AI. It's not going anywhere, and it keeps getting better. I'm sure people bitched about photoshop and computer editing for photos too.
