So I switched to the ps5 today and I really prefer the DS4 especially for playing sf. Dualsense is too big in general imo and especially for fighting game.

I was hoping we would get something more snug by this time but Sony have been slow on this front.

If you use pad have you considered trying fightpads like the Hori Fighting Commander or the Victrix BFG Pro? Those are pretty good fightpads.

The Sonic Fox special. Start a game with a zoner, talk nonstop about how amazing they are, assist in bringing in lots of nerfs, swap to rushdown and/or mixup character for the rest of the game.

Not really I tried one before I don't like the D-pad. I think ideally I would play with the ps1 controller lol. I think the french rose player that won Evo was playing with one.

I hear ya. One of the controllers I have is a PS2 controller with a converter for PS3/PS4 play , need one for PS5 lol. Still my all time favorite controllers are PS2 and PS1.

The fighting commanders are some of the best ones imo, but I still say the Sega Saturn pad is the best for fighting games. The small one anyway.

Bigger tourney for this one, tough comp, some Master/Diamond players etc, just ended. Stats:

70 attendees. Got 13th.

Lost to two DeeJays. One of them I had it in the. Ag but dropped the ball. My salt level is unimaginable right now. I really gotta grind this MU more because this character is bonkers and one mistake ends your match.

Same issue. I really dislike the dualsense for fighting games. Really wish I could use my dualshock or hori commander. I really like the way the Victrix Pro BFG looks but I doubt I can convince the wife that much money on a controller is a good spend lol.

I'm giving it a week if I still mess up I will go back to playing it on the ps4.

It's absolutely massive for playing fighting games I much prefer something smaller.

Supers are supposed to be a bit harder to do in this game, yet I get them by accident at times and I'm not the only one.
