Are you playing from Europe?

You can pull off the drive rush combos but it's less than ideal, plus mirror match is not that fun so rain check for now, what coast you on?
Faced one in ranked last night, stomped him the first set then I got rolled next 2 lolIt's cool. I'm on the West Coast. I've always like mirror matches, but a Gief mirror does seem weird sometimes. Probably because I rarely have to face him myself.

did end on a 5 match win streak and almost got to 3000 points last night, could hit bronze soon
What rank you started? I'm platinum 4 stars right now but I think I will really taper down the grind once I hit diamond.Faced one in ranked last night, stomped him the first set then I got rolled next 2 lol

started out at Iron 4 i think and almost got below 2000 points but worked my way back to 2900. Stopped jumping a lot, noticed lower levels don't grab much and will always push buttons when getting up. I need to learn the combos of gief but i'll eventually get thereWhat rank you started? Do you have a ranked goal in mind?
Do you have a ranked goal in mind?
If it's just general improvement I think playing long sets vs same player is better it allows you to hone in on your mistakes.
Obviously you have to get the combos down first.
After reaching Diamond I'm gonna focus much more on long sets vs good players that's the best imo. My mu match up is still kinda limited, and playing short games on ranked isn't helping me much.
Gold is the goal right now. Side goals are learning some combos and pulling them off in matches and implementing drive rush into my gameDo you have a ranked goal in mind?

Yea that above is actually good advice. Reasonable goals for the moment. Goal setting is definitely the best way, because if gives you an "initiative" to make the changes to improve. If you're Bronze, your goal should be something along the lines of "I'm gonna reach Gold Level 1". Then when you do, you move the goal up.
I'm similar to what-wat's boat. I'm Diamond Level 2 and pretty much gonna likely reach 3 by the weekend. Then I plan on going back to long sets again to really grind problem MUs, specifically Juri/Cammy/Chun. So I set it like "play each of those MUs in a 1 hour minimum set, then replay it against the same person doing better". If I don't do better, replay it again until you do. Etc. The goal setting is one of the best ways to improve.
I think another goal I want is start playing another character
So from a pure “they look cool” stand point, Kimberly and JuriGonna try another grappler or different archetype altogether?
