Number of master ranked based on character

Oh noooo. R.I.P. JP. Gonna have to start getting my plan b in order before the inevitable. Surprised there isn't more DeeJay with how super busted he is in this game.

I hope they wait a few months before they start handing out the nerfs. These games need time, but yeah JP is looking super strong atm.

At least until after Evo at the earliest. He's definitely strong no doubt about it, but changes too soon don't allow things to evolve as I'm already seeing Anti-JP tech this morning on his ghost and some other characters aren't as explored as he is yet (looking at you Dhalsim and Blanka).

Edit: I just crashed your server lol. Probably watch or play random match or two before eating.

Just saw @Crimson Fury with the Perfect Parry into SPD match ender against a JP. Been in the lab since our match I see lol.

Lol, he's actually a friend of mine who just picked up the game. I told him about JP and that's his main right now. He didn't realize his "AWAY!" projectile was unblockable and wondering why I was getting hit by it.

It does seem a bit early, I think you could argue some of it might just be greater interest in the character as arguably the most unique of the new characters, I'm guessing his level 2 super might be the most exploitable thing which ends up being nerfed.

Ken I suspect will always feature quite high up early on as well given how popular the character is.

I get the feeling Manon might move even higher, the increasing damage command grab mechanic seems incredibly powerful to me combined with a relatively fast character. People could actually trade off the opening round just looking for command grabs then if there at level 4 by the second round beating them becomes very tough.

Main thing that I'm noticing watching a lot of high level plays is that cornering is VERY important which the wall splashes, looks moreso than at any point since Third Strike.

What are the stylistic differences in play between Ken, who’s proving popular, and Ryu in SF6?

Apparently, on the Twitch Rivals, SonicFox has been smashing everyone with JP.

Leave it to Sonic to get characters nerfed lol.

I think Dhalsim is really good in the game. Surprised by the low number.

I think he's pretty bad. The Tokido early tier list put him at the worst in the game, and I think there's an argument for it. Bottom 3 at least. Just a massive shell of his SFV former self.
