Now that I think about it, SFII The Animated Movie really is the best. A lot of the other anime movies based off of fighting games ranged from average (Fatal Fury) to godawful (Art of Fighting).

It's my favorite by far I've seen it a million times growing up. Love the ken scene, "mind and body as one"

SFII The Animated Movie was one of the best video game anime movies from the 90's. SFII V? Started out good at least...

It's really good on it's own but especially in contrast to the other ones like the shitty Tekken one and the Fatal Fury one... although that did have a Mai shower scene.

Also the English version is really well done with a freaking awesome legit soundtrack.

As mediocre as the Fatal Fury OVAs were, I thought King of Fighters Destiny was pretty good and so was the Fatal Fury side story.
