I think they are too occupied with reinventing the wheel and watering down the gameplay to appeal to casual players that it's hurting the game. Sfv was a hot pile of garbage. The series would do well with going back to an alpha or cvs2 style of game.

Ive never played any of the games in the Capcom Collection thats coming out but Im pretty excited to give it a try.

A start could be pick Kinu Nishimura as lead artist and try to replicate that style in 3D, but seems the last thing Capcom want

Problem is'nt even the logo itself
Problem is the lack of self awareness that it takes to show a crap like that
 


Looks like Smash isn't coming back to EVO due to Nintendo being Nintendo. Honestly I prefer no Smash at my FGC events but I'm sure most won't be happy with this decision.
 
Capcom issued new tournament rules for SFV: Championship, don't think its gone down to well especially for grass roots tournaments

I know they started a deal with Panda Global last year for officially licensed circuits for Ultimate and Melee, guessing this is part of the reason also

Haha that's the goal. This could maybe be my last full-fledged hoorah so I'm going all in like I'm grinding for a second job. Way back in the day I've been able to eliminate some killers in tournament, so if I can get a Top 16 somewhere I'd be happy.

I've signed up for KOF 15, MK11, Tekken, and GG. I've been playing KOF the most for obvious reasons. I can play Tekken in my sleep. Strive I feel is easy enough I just need MU exp again probably 6 weeks or so before going. And MK11 similar to GG, but in MK I've went 50/50 with guys on the Honeybee level and I won the first MK11 TYM online tourney so I think I'd have a good shot to make noise in whichever game I give the most time.

Super hyped now that tourneys are back. The experience itself is always the best part lol.

I'm of the "Smash isn't a real fighting game" club so ayyy, lol. Plus, hate to stereotype, but man, their scene is always the worst at Majors.
 
I never went to events but i played a lot of smash with friends growing up as well so i enjoy it
