LOL, there was one Gief in the top 48 and not one Lily in the top 64.
Surprisingly, there was only one Juri in the top 32. Ten JPs made it to the top 48 including winners bracket today. He might be in trouble with the next balance patch.
Bro it's sooooo over for JP in the first patch lol. Time to start looking for my switch now.
Well, it'll be a while before the first big patch. I'm glad I played him anyway and he's pretty fun. He might get the Nash season 2 treatment, but then again:
Nakayama: "I love watching the tier lists that players put out. Those are totally different from our thoughts internally. Even with Street Fighter 5, our views never aligned with the players even at the end.
Most people seemed to consider Luke the strongest, but on our development team what if I told you that we actually thought that Alex was at the top? We don't talk about this stuff because then it comes off as an 'official statement', but it's interesting."
If they legit thought Alex was stronger than Luke in SFV they must be operating on another planet. Maybe they'll buff JP and nerf Lily lol.
Raven... MEH
Peruvian Girl... MEH
Stages look absolutely outstanding though.
I'm gonna be PISSED if we don't get Bruce again...
Might be just me but I really hate the direction new characters have went since Tekken 6. They started getting back on track at the end of Tekken 7 life with Leroy, Fahk, and Lidia (design-wise not the brokenness) but this new "coffee queen" is just another one of these types of wasted opportunities for an interesting character.
I modded Fahk to look like Bruce. I thought he looked ridiculous. Just way too much shit going on.Fahk looked like complete shit lol. Besides his messed up hitboxes no one seemed to care about him. Leroy and Lidia were cool though. The hype for Leroy was huge.
