LOL, there was one Gief in the top 48 and not one Lily in the top 64.

Surprisingly, there was only one Juri in the top 32. Ten JPs made it to the top 48 including winners bracket today. He might be in trouble with the next balance patch.

Well, it'll be a while before the first big patch. I'm glad I played him anyway and he's pretty fun. He might get the Nash season 2 treatment, but then again:

If they legit thought Alex was stronger than Luke in SFV they must be operating on another planet. Maybe they'll buff JP and nerf Lily lol.

That would explain the Cammy buffs and Alex nerfs in SFV. Even the Cammy players were confused at one point, lol.

It's nice to have back up characters anyway. Even Caba has a Kimberly for the JP matchup.

Bruce is my favorite fighting game Muay Thai practitioner BY FAR, but I don't have much hope for his return. Yet they keep bringing boring ass Ganryu back to keep his 5 fans happy.

Might be just me but I really hate the direction new characters have went since Tekken 6. They started getting back on track at the end of Tekken 7 life with Leroy, Fahk, and Lidia (design-wise not the brokenness) but this new "coffee queen" is just another one of these types of wasted opportunities for an interesting character.

Fahk looked like complete shit lol. Besides his messed up hitboxes no one seemed to care about him. Leroy and Lidia were cool though. The hype for Leroy was huge.
