Watching Melvin tonight was kind of a sad for me. It's a shame to have someone so damn talented just downgrade into nothingness. It's clear he's still on that yayo. Shame not even Jackson could get him to straighten the hell out. So I ask, who do you wish would've got their shit together?

  • Pat Barry was that guy for me.
I hear you on Melvin. I remember when people were sure he was gonna come wreck Frankie for thE LW title, and I was worried it was true. He doesn't look like the same guy who destroyed Evan Dunham.

current process of jones comes to mind...

dude has been acting like a moron for a few years now...

Paulo Filho. Dude was phenomenal and he's still only 37 years old. He would've been a real force in the UFC once they absorbed WEC. A damn shame.

Ellenberger. Not just the losses, but going to Edmund's. His decision-making both inside and outside of the cage is just baffling.

Nick Diaz if he could stop smoking weed and concentrate on training.

Oh that's a good one for sure. I think I would say both the Diaz brothers. Seems Nate is getting it together more so now and days, but still. Damn shame. Wasting away.

B.J Penn. He is accomplished but you know he half assed it most of the time.

So Sherdog is deep blue now.....

Wow, good answer. Didn't even remember he existed. Guy was a monster on the ground. Watching him spaz out against Sonnen? really concerned me at the time. He could've taken out Silva in his prime, in my opinion

BJ Penn. Easily the most gifted all around and should have stayed w/ marinovich for conditioning but quit. Liked the partying/Hawaii lifestyle too much.
