Fighters with Japanese Jujitsu background?

Thats not why judo was created i don't think.
It was. It was created because traditional jiujitsu couldn’t/wasn’t practiced live in training. Judo filtered out everything he determined you could practice live and put an emphasis on those techniques and added live sparring as a required element to the training.

Should research better.. there a many many with a high level of Japanese Jiu-Jitsu training. Many of the known Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners and Judokas, have JJJ experience and skill set too. You would be surprised on how many American BJJ practitioners have JJJ experience at a high level.

Im curios to know why there are no fighters with Japanese jujitsu background, I mean I reckon it should have all the elements that judo, bjj and even aikido has since thats where these arts come from which in a way should make it a more well rounded style of grappling that has standup throws and groundwork.

Yet I don't hear any fighters talk about or practice any form of japanese jujitsu.
2014 thread wtf

Jason Fairn in the 4th UFC was introduced as JJJ praticioner.

Herb Dean, as well as a handful of fighters from the American Ju-Jitsu system (not Jake Shields, the way older version) are Black Belts from this system taught by Steve Crawford. I as well.

It was derived from Japanese JJ and not from Brazilian JJ. Although it uses aspects of BJJ, Catch-Wrestling, American Wrestling, Kenpo, and Judo.

UFC guys would be
-Curtis Stout
-Rob Kimmons
-James Krause

thats just to name a few, there are more from this system and a bunch that have fought in Belltator and other big orgs also.

I don't want to disrespect JJ.. because the guy who taught me was a really good guy..

But what i learned seemed like Aikido level of realism..
