Social "Fighters Against Socialism" Jorge Masvidal leading charge for better fighter pay

Now, In Jorge's defense, his hot take was at least better than Sam Alvey's was:

"I'm strongly against the unions. I've said it before. The unions want to pay everybody the same amount, and I don't support that. Conor McGregor earned his multi-millions by the way he runs his mouth and the way he wins. As much as I'm not a fan of his, I'm with that. With a union, he wouldn't be worth that. He wouldn't get half of what he's asking. Now for some of the guys that don't stand out like him, I think a union could do well. But I think that they are taking something from someone that has earned it. Myself, I don't want it, because I think I'm going to be worth every penny of what Conor is. I just need to get that win streak going and run my mouth a little bit. With a union like that I just don't like it. I'm worth more than some of the other fighters. As bad as that sounds, I am."

He's 0-6-1 in his last 7 fights and looks like he was making about $65,000 a fight in recent fights.

Well he did get a streak going I guess.

If unions weren't good for workers, the Jeff Bezoses of the world wouldn't put so much effort into keeping their workers from unionizing.

I think Jeff just has his workers' best interests at heart. He doesn't want to see them suffer a loss in wages and benefits if a union comes in.

So we're saying that asking for more money is socialist now? Lol, you don't get to ask for more money in socialist countries, you're poor and that's all you'll ever be.

California has the highest poverty rate in the country, and also ranked dead last in quality of life.

But also, RTW states have lower costs of living and lower unemployment.

it’s a difficult concept to grasp but some money is better than zero money. I guess those unemployed people living in an expensive area feel good that there neighbors are making 5% higher wages than those stupid hicks in RTW states

Of course the state with the most people is going to have the most poor people. Do you think you're proving something here?
Um, yes, proving that your post was a straight up lie.

The RATE is the highest in the country, and nearly 1/4 of the state is living below poverty. It also has the lowest literacy rates and highest income inequality. The most equal states are Utah and Alaska.

It's not even near the highest. The top ten states with the highest levels of people living in poverty are, according to the U.S. government's own stats, as of 2019:

Tennessee, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, West Virginia, New Mexico, Louisiana, Mississippi. California looks to be just about right in the middle, 24th or 25th.

Is he pro Cuba or anti cuba? His whole schtick was this.

I suppose you could get creative and pretend every state has the same cost of living, but we're counting actually living in poverty, not that houses are cheaper in places you don't live.

He has about as much self awareness as most of us Sherdoggers...

You realize that more states are right to work than not? There are still unions in right to work states, you simply aren’t forced to join. I realize that may be a problem if you are counting on those union dues to fund your next campaign.
