I believe most pro athletic commissions only do urine, and most of time not all fighters get tested, sometimes it’s just the winners. Either way the easiest test to beat is that one

Its when you get to the more elite orgs is where the testing protocols can be higher than what’s happening on a regional level as a standard

It's obviously not hard to believe that people would cheat and use roids. My point was that those who DO use roids rationalize it in exactly the way you are- "others are using it anyway, and I need to do it for my family"; this is BTW the same way a lot of people rationalize robbing banks or mugging people. It's obviously inadequate as a justification to cheat and put others in danger.

I was also saying we can't assume it is everyone. It doesn't strike you that those saying, "everyone is on roids" are doing a bit of BS self-promotion? Implying it is everyone but them? The Diaz brothers make a lot of dubious claims. I'm sure a lot of fighters use something, I'm just saying it is an unsafe assumption to say it is everyone.

There was a fairly big martial arts tournament where I live. The national anti-doping agency showed up unannounced. Plenty of clean guys, and plenty of 4 year bans for the pussies who thought they were gonna get away with cheating.

Regardless of whether or not the USADA is corrupt, the level of corruption that you imply obviously is false. They wrecked good main events that would have brought the UFC big money, so they weren't entirely corrupt.

As far as everyone being on roids, I am waiting to see some proof. Fighters who say everyone is on roids are implying that everyone BUT THEM is on roids, which is a pretty goofy thing to say. If you have compelling evidence that everyone is on roids, I would love to see it. If you don't, then you would be the naive one for being so sure of something you can't come anywhere close to proving. I would say you are naive for believing brain-damaged claims from someone like Nate or Nick Diaz who are self-promoting with these claims, as if they were the only ones not on roids.

Pretty much, I think a lot of people don’t understand now that compounds have moved away from your traditional Vitor TRT juiced up with real steroids era.

Most of these guys are most likely using SARMS like Ostarine to cut and recover or stuff like EPO which isn’t even a muscle builder and very hard to catch. If anything I’d be more sus of guys nowadays than 10 years ago pre USADA as it was really fucking easy to tell who was on it, Ostarine ain’t giving you firehouse veins and massive traps

I don't know why this is so hard to grasp. What I said was, there is no proof that EVERYONE is using. If you want to believe the Diaz brothers are an authority on EVERY fighter's status on the supplements, and that they are the ONLY ONES not using, you go right ahead and believe that.
