What year will they start remaking all the remakes theyve been remaking

Been happening for a while.

some other titles with multiple remakes:
Beauty And The Beast (1991, 2011, 2017)
I Am Legend (1964, 1971, 2007)
Seven Samurai (1954, 1960, 2016)
Freaky Friday (1976, 1995, 2003)

Carrie (1976, 2002, 2013)
Annie (1982, 1999, 2014)
Pride And Prejudice (1938, 1940, 2005)

People are focusing too much on the fact that it’s with women when really the problem is that they’re remaking a movie that doesn’t need to be remade. What could they possibly add to that movie today? More special effects?

They should remake it with women and call it Ben Her.

Or Been Inside Her.

From what I've read this is just a spoof/joke about Fight Club. They're making fun of it. Not a remake.

I think the preferred nomenclature now is "reboot."

The problem is that people aren't seeing the forest for the trees. Movies don't need justification to be made anymore- there is more expendable cash out there than good ideas worth adapting. Studios want to saturate every available platform with media because they're driven by intense FOMO. A proven title will attract more investors than a new idea. Cinema has been Disneyfied and it will never go back. This is why TV has been superior to cinema for a while.

Wtf is fomo?

All of the studios are in a bloodthirsty battle for survival here with mergers increasing the size of the remaining participants. With potential billions at stake with every major release, they have become very risk averse. There is so little creativity in Hollywood because of the market conditions created by the superhero era.

So they want to do everything in their power to seize available eyeballs by any means necessary. They don't have the imagination to come up with new properties so they reboot established ones. If you're the money man, would you hand over millions for a movie about chicks fighting? No, that would be ludicrous. But reframe it as "Fight Club, but with women" and you might be tricked into signing that check.

Good luck trying to get them to not talk about fight club

Technically not a remake thought right

just a spoof or something, still lame
