Great game, hats off to both teams. Much deserved win for Germany. Neuer coming out to challenge other players vs Algeria and in the finals was a highlight of the WC for me.

Was a fun WC. Even though the final 4 teams were traditional power houses, was great to see teams like Colombia, Costa Rica, Algeria, and USA have good showings. The playing field feels more level.

Interesting to see what changes, Brazil, Spain, Italy, and England make down the road for the next WC.

Muller for golden ball, imo. most consistent throughout. Schmeichel's the GOAT keeper, but Neuer's obv top notch. Glad Germany got it done. Schweinsteiger sucks a fat one, king of missed passes.
 
Do they give a award for the best goal in the tournament?

I like RVP vs Spain and James vs uruguay.
 
Messi should not have gotten the golden ball. He had a decent tournament, but he was pretty invisible for the last couple games.
 
fifa is a joke messi absolutely sucked against germany and holland even against the swiss he barely did anything worthy a couple runs here and there, i dont get it.. james rodriguez, robben or thomas muller are 100 times more deserving than him. shit even neymar injured last 2 games was more deserving. lolol

Fifa is a sad joke filled with corruption i wish all the top 20 nations just dropped out of fifa and developed their own world cup it would be hilarious.

Tevez should have played, he is a beast. Nasri is a troublemaker, but the rest simply aren't good enough.

seriously, he was mostly invisible for the last 2 games. zabaletta had a real good tourny too, and robben, even though he didn't do much of anything against Argentina, was better at creating than Messi this tourny.
 
Germany didn't have any competition now that Spain and Italy decided to not show up for the world cup. Italy and Spain are the teams that bested Germany in 06,08,10 and 12. These other nations just suck.

they tend to lose to France, as well. but yeah, 2/3 tough teams for them out early.

you sound butthurt in the extreme. germany were a class above all and their team is relatively young. will only get better.

ze germans played a hell of a tourny.

I'm a big Schweinsteiger fan so i'm glad they pulled this one out...though I was laughing pretty hard at the end when he was getting fucked up left and right.
