Since 1998 we got 3 quarter finals in World Cups,more then Spain,Italy,Portugal,Belgium.

Only Brazil(7),France(5),Germany(5),Argentina(5),Holland(4) and England(4) got more quarter final placements then us since our first WC in 1998 where we got 3rd place and last in 2018 got 2nd place.So much for your Croatia isnt even top 10

Croatia is top 15/20.

They might be the weakest European soccer power but they are a power. They basically took Yugoslavias place in the soccer landscape. Where they don't win any tournaments but they're always a threat to make deep runs every once and awhile. Kinda liken it to England or Portugal(Portugal won Euros but you know what I mean). Golden generation aside they're more of a power then Belgium ever was.

In terms of perception they were underrated because they were a new country and their uniforms look silly. But in the 90s, 00s and 10 they always had a good team. They haven't had a period of irelevance, even though the 2000s team underacheived it was pretty talented with your Eduardos and Klansnics. In 2008 Euro they could have made the semis or final they got kinda screwed against Turkey(forgot the details remember my Croat friends being hella pissed). Remember them clapping Englands cheeks in qualifying for one of these tournaments awhile back.

They have been the best Austro-Hungarian successor state since their foundation as a country. There is a substantial chance Croatia beats Brazil and I'd honestly be surprised if Brazil wins easily.

2-3 WC semi finals in 25 years is nothing to sneeze at. That's more than Spain.
